Michael was very helpful in sharing the pros and cons of various shade trees that grow here in the valley.

We have been using FarWest for years. The selection for perennial plants is as good as any place in town. Ornamental tree selection is also great. We have purchased a couple fruit trees and a few Japanese maples over the years and all are still alive and doing great. We appreciate the knowledgeable staff and their eagerness to help nail down problems. The only real complaint is their plants seem to be a bit more expensive than some of the other garden centers, but the customer service makes up for it.

Super great inventory and lots of options to get your yard started and going for the years. the staff was right there to help and very knowledgeable. Wonder if this place is hiring... I would so want to work at a plant place with friendly, informative people!

This was our best garden center experience this year! We had just walked onto the lot and immediately had someone ask if they could help us. We had a huge list of items to purchase and she helped guide us around the garden center and gave us suggestions and tips. She was so friendly with our little kids and just a dream to work with. We really enjoyed our experience and are going to skip the other places next time around and just head to far west!

The customer service has fallen apart at FW. I use to appreciate everything this business did for my property until they started to tell me what I can and can not plant on my property. I picked out a pretty tree that I wanted in my backyard and instead of helping me plant the tree they gave me excuses why they couldn't plant the tree. The tree never got planted because the customer service is so bad. I thought maybe they would like to take my business and my money with no problems. No instead the excuses were worth more than the money. Don't trust them to do a clean up because they will

Inside out: their parking lot was full when we got there, but we parked next-door in FarWest designs. It's a beautiful place to go just to look, they have such a huge variety of trees and flowers, yard art, pretty much everything I could possibly imagine needing for outside. The plants looked healthy, the trees looked healthy, overall everything seemed well-maintained.

Staff: we got asked several times if we needed anything, when we asked a question about a tree, we got fast and friendly help!

This nursery is amazing in the appearance and has a great selection of healthy plants. After years of having a non blooming trumpet vine I decided to replace it with 2 honeysuckle plants. Found 2 varieties that will be gorgeous as they mature. Looking to make the yard more hummingbird friendly with summer long blooming plants. Will return to seek out more unusual plants.

EMILY really understood my vision for a water conservation, low maintenance, and Emily understood my vision for a water conservative and low maintenance front yard redesign.

She choose grasses, trees, rocks, and gravel that complimented the architecture of the home.

She managed the project and crew, flawlessly, and delivered a unique and magical design.

Purchased a product that the clerk told me would warrant trees for one year. Manager refused to honor warranty.
If the owner's response is accurate, perhaps he should make sure his employees are properly trained not to offer the warranty if it does not apply to fall clearance trees. Waste of money and time.

This place is overpriced!! The lady that helped us was great in recommending an alternative to what we we're looking for. The black lace elderberry was the perfect alternative for us in place of the Japanese maple that wouldn't have liked the sun situation in our yard. However, the black lace elderberry plant we got was double the price from other nurseries. They charged me $65 and at a different nursery for the same size and way better foliage it was only $35!!!!

I love stopping by the Garden Center. They carry a great selection of plants and are always there to offer help in selection.

We did a big landscaping project in the summer of 2020 and our landscape designer, Emily, was amazing to work with. She really listened to our ideas, and even though she's the knowledgeable professional, she definitely gave me a voice throughout the process which gives me a great sense of ownership in the final product. She can take the project and run, but I love that she let me be a part of it. She also introduced me to some amazing plants that I didn't know

I've heard they have great plants but I never made it in because the woman on the phone was so rude and off putting that I decided I don't want to patronize them. Look, I know it's their busy season but I had several hundred dollars worth of planting for a large landscaping project and she decided she didn't want that business.

I called to ask the protocol to select and prepay for plants that would be tagged and picked up later by my landscaper. I was told by a friend they did this.

The woman stated they do NOT do this, and that even prepaid, tagged plants weren't

Had them bid for and then selected them to do a signifant landscaping project. Entire process was seamless and easy, very professional, pricing was great and very responsive as I asked questions and changed things along the way. The Project Manager kept in touch with me and explained everything along the way and the team really had amazing eye for adding small details and making the finished product better than I expected. Will absolutely use them again and recommend.

If cost is no object, shop nowhere else. FarWest has a fantastic variety of unusual evergreens as well as a good selection of Japanese maples. In totally redoing my yard, I bought about half of my trees and shrubs here.
If you're cost-conscious, concentrate on the plants you can't find elsewhere. I wouldn't buy a Bloodgood Maple here when the ones at Costco look the same for 80% less money. If you'll be moving out in a few years, the big box stores are fine. If there's a special place in a small yard at a house you'll keep forever, an extra $100 for a superior plant is a good investment. FarWest

Great service! Ordered a tree during the April closure, it was dropped off in a timely manner. Shortly after being dropped off I noticed an issue with the tree. I emailed Dennis and he gave me an honest assessment of the pictures I sent. Dennis notes that he'd like to replace the tree as he felt it was not up to their standard. They delivered a new tree, dug up the original tree and planted the new tree...all at no additional cost. It's great to work with experts that are honest and take pride in their products and work. I have a very small yard which is sort of difficult to work and live in.

Emily A and the dynamic duo of Cortland and Roberto did a terrific job in my "confined space" of a yard. Emily invested the time to get to know what I could commit to care (I am a lazy gardener) . She kept everything to scale with great skill and she even considered how things will look from the inside of the dwelling, as well as from different vantage points in the space.
