I don't know why I brought my husband here knowing how many bad experiences I've had before. My husband went in with pain and the ER doc said it was his gall bladder and admitted him. However, instead of removal they decided to go in endoscopically. Now, he's in San Antonio with multiple organs inflamed. I can't even begin to describe the look on staff members faces every time it's reported
that he was transferred in from Kerrville. Stay away from this hospital at all costs.

Multiple bad experiences with this hospital between myself and loved ones. For myself, I went in to deliver my baby and after being given medicine to induced labor for over 12 hours, and cervix checks every hour, I was having contractions ever 30 seconds because my body was ready to deliver, and they could not tell that my baby was breeched! They could have seriously risked my baby’s life and mine with their incompetence! My doctor showed up the next morning, checked one time, told me she was breeched then rushed me to have an emergency c-section. After delivering my baby, they were tying my

I took my daughter in because her asthma wasn’t under control and she was having trouble breathing.. they covid tested her and told me to see her doctor. Wouldn’t give her steroids to help her breath. The doctor came in before the covid results even came back.. Didn’t even wanna come all the way in the room. Left the door opened. Listened to one side of her back. That was it. Very disappointed in the experience.

Absolutely the worst hospital I've ever seen people die here. The staff is very rude and not caring of anyones real needs. My 10 year old daughter last year had a ruptured appendix this place made her wait in the lobby for 8 hrs before deciding oh we can't help you. Now my wife has covid, and the staff on 3 west is very rude. You try and call to get info about your spouse and they won't release it. My wife is a diabetic and doesn't take insulin. These people just decided to give it to her and in doing so could have killed my wife. I do not recommend this hospital to any one it is a very last resort

The worst ER I have ever been to. Take patients to the room and leave them in the room for over an hour and completely neglect the patient while half the staff is in the back room laughing and having a good old time while patients are in the room suffering and in desperate need of help. Shame on the doctors and nurses for the lack of professionalism and to top it off charge a hurrendous copay. I wouldnt take my dog there! The worst ER ever!

I went to Dr. Shaw for rehabilitation after a running injury. He requested I go to physical therapy as my next step in treatment. I wish he had stated- if you go to a physical therapy clinic you'll pay a $30 copay. Instead he sends me to the Ambulatory Care Clinic at Peterson. I had no idea that I would be charged $2,800 for 9 physical therapy visits- 40 min each. It's been a struggle all summer to find the money to pay for it when ultimately I can't decide whose fault it is...Dr. Shaw for not providing options for physical therapy or for the hospital for being ridiculous. It was a separate building

I recently went to the emergency room after being told I was too sick to be at Urgent Care. I was taken in immediately and treated right away with the necessary diagnostics and therapies. I have an unusual and complicated medical history. The multiple nurses and the doctor who attended me were thorough and certainly gave me more time and care than I expected. I have had nothing but excellent care at all their facilities over my lifetime, including a number of surgeries. My results and care could not be better anywhere, and I have had lots of experience elsewhere to make the comparison. I have been

Disappointed. Was hoping things had changed here in e.r. NOPE. Sent home still in pain from abdominal hernia. Was offered tylenol. Seriously? Room was filthy. Trash on floor. Blood on floor in room and in bathroom in the waiting area. I had to remove my IV in the car when i left. No one came back in room to do it. Just sign papers and rushed me out to front door.
