Natalie and Paul's wedding out at the Arctic Club in Seattle was so much fun! Love photography in that space and the downtown area! They were such a fun couple to work with and I would love to take photos again in the Arctic Club! Their wedding was on New Year's Eve and it was such a fun way to celebrate them!
I had a fun opportunity to work with Caitlyn and Kyle for their wedding photography at the Edgewater House. Loved this venue being on the water! There were so many great places to take wedding photos! Caitlyn had a wedding dress and another dress that she got into for their reception so that led to two different looks for their photos.

I know it's a tough one! It's pronounced "Feekner". Now that we've got my last name out of the way you probably want to know a little bit about me. Let's see. I love Jesus. I fall in love with my amazing wife each day. I've got three amazing kids adopted from Ethiopia. I have a passion for traveling to countries in Africa and serving those less fortunate.
Family photos should be FUN! Kids should be allowed to be who they are. SILLY, RUNNING, JUMPING and LAUGHING! I don't want your family photos to be boring and stiff like robots. My goal with your family shoot is to capture images that show the true personality of your family.
I want you to look back at your pictures and remember what it felt like to gaze down at your child and see their beautiful face, hear their belly laugh as you tickle them, or watch them sprint to show how "fast they are".I want to capture those real moments! Mike is an amazing photographer. He is fantastic to work with and we always have so many choices of great photos that it’s hard to choose which ones to print. Our kids adore him because he interacts with them and gets the best expressions. We’ve hired him for family photos for the past 2.5 years and we highly recommend working with him. He is well worth every penny.

My husband and I used Mike for our maternity photos at Gas Works. We had the absolute best experience! Mike was so professional during the entire shoot and made us feel extremely comfortable. He helped to create some really incredible memories for us. We are also using Mike for our photo shoot when we welcome our baby. I cannot recommend Mike enough for your next professional photoshoot! You will not be disappointed with the work he does. We are overwhelmed with how much we love each and every shot!

Mike took all three of my son's high school senior photos. Five years ago and being the first to do this, the oldest was a little unsure of the photo-shoot concept -and it being all about "him." I can still recall very clearly and fondly afterwards him saying to me "That was actually fun!" Fast forward to this spring when when Mike took my youngest son's pictures. He was able to get him to smile - and so nicely! - something my son refuses to do for family candid shots. Mike has incredible talent with his subjects, making them appear confident and at ease. Mike has humor, grace and artistic insight

Mike did such a great job with our family photos. Our 3 year old is pretty shy of strangers and started the session nervous and wouldn’t smile. Mike really worked to win her over until she was smiling and laughing the rest of the time, so much so she asked about him for the next 3 days.
Also, I’m thrilled with all of the photos and his session fee is very fairly priced. I highly recommend!

Mike is truly talented! We loved working with him! He photographed my seniors, who were initially hesitant to do photos fearing that it would be awkward. They both commented that Mike quickly made them feel at ease and made the shoot fun! Our finished product is excellent. He managed to capture the true essence of my twins. There were so many fantastic shots in fact that I wound up purchasing more than I originally thought I would.

While I really liked Mike's work and thought some of his shots were stunning, he unfortunately became unresponsive to emails and voicemail. While I completely understand that a photographer could feel uncomfortable booking a client with a somewhat uncertain event date (you can't book a courthouse wedding until a couple months before, but I eventually learned that experienced "elopement" photographers have no problem with this), it would have been helpful to simply hear "no" from Mike, so that we could move forward with looking for other photographers.
