Nothing personal against the Troy location but I was just speaking with someone in customer service who I guess is located at the main branch location and was asked 2 different times why I was in my car or out and about if we were exposed to COVID. Although it was none of her business I told her I had to take my 5 month old daughter to be tested for COVID and RSV. I actually told her this the 1st time after she stated she heard my car dinging so she knew I was in my car. Then she proceeded to ask why I was out and about if we were exposed to COVID a little more into the conversation. Her name was

If I could post 0 stars I would. After my experience today, first thing Monday morning I will be coming to cancel all my accounts and pull out all my money! I have been banking here a year or more. I have had nothing but issues! Not just once.. its been almost everytime. Today was the 8th and finally time you put my paycheck in someone else's account! This bank is a joke! Would never recommend this bank to anyone ever! I would be more understanding if this was the first bad experience I've had here but I literally dread having to come here! The absolute worst. I’ve been with them for 10 years and still have not received my new debit card (mine expired in January) called several times and no one seems to care or have any urgency. I have bills past due now because of said expired card. Changing banks tomorrow. It’s well overdue to be done anyways.

I switched to UCU years ago because I had heard so many good things about customer service and good business practices from the "locals" in Troy. Back in 2014 when my purse (and identity) had been stolen while on vacation in AZ, UCU was so supportive and helpful during this stressful time wheras the bank that my husband and I had done business with for years during our married life WAS NOT. It's a 5 out of 5 star rating all the way!

Called to verify information on my account one day. Logged in the following day and there was a problem. Stopped by there that afternoon and discussed with a manager. She said everything will be taken care of in the morning. Checked a few days later, same problem! Stopped by again today to discuss and possibly refi my new truck. They will not correct issue and cost me 200.00. I'll keep my truck loan a a bank that doesn't lie to me twice, thanks anyway.

I am writing as a long-time member of United Credit Union. After reading James M.'s negative post above I had to respond. I read, and re-read the post and to be quite frank, it made no sense. But, judging from the picture that doesn't surprise me. I have been a member of the United Credit Union for almost 20 years and not once in those 20 years has UCU done anything that approaches bad business practices. Do not do business with this horrible institution. I took a check from one of its customers and the bank would not honor the financial agreement I made with their customer. Who wrote me a check. I went there to cash it and was charged money to get my money from them off their check. Ridiculous. I will never do business with them or their customers. I would recommend you don't either. Basically they will not honor checks from their customers. Private transactions should not be taxed. You are a bank not the government.
