I had Brian(?) out to my cabin to get a quote on a mini-split system. Brian told me he would email me the quote the next day. After two days, I hadn't received the quote, so I called SCR and left a message for Brian to please send me the quote. After 1 week, still no quote. I called one more time, and I even explained that the quote may have been sent to the wrong email address (people frequently put an 'n' in the middle of my last name). I never received the quote, and no one ever followed up. Why didn't SCR just say they didn't want to do the job? What a complete waste of time.

Requested a shower valve replaced. This company are crooks. They sent a bill for over $1000 which is outrageous. Claimed to install parts that was never installed and did work that wasn't required (cut entire pvc line out from shut off to shower valve both hot and cold when there was not anything wrong with either one). Then Brenden had the audacity to say it was a complicated plumbing job after I had opened up the access panel and all lines were out in the open. The plumber says he took over 3 hours for the job and I could have done it myself in less than an hour. NEVER NEVER USE THIS

In the past couple of years, I have had several emergencies at my cabin. As emergencies happen, they were on holiday weekends-Thanksgiving and 4th of July weekend! In those instances, I called SCR and was so thankful to have responsive and professional techs come to fix the problem! Even though it was holiday weekends, they were happy to get the job done quickly and professionally, and CHEERFULLY! From scheduling with Tammy, to the many service techs (Mark was especially wonderful) I feel I have had the best the service industry has to offer with SCR.

Mike and Chris came out and replaced my water heater and downstairs toilet and were timely and professional and very friendly. I am retired and tend to chatter on a bit and they didn't mind that so hurray to them for putting up with me. Anyway they are a great crew who do a very good job for all your plumbing needs.

The salesman (Brian Doucette) provided great information, answered all of our questions and returned our phone calls promptly even a few weeks later to answer more questions while we were still making our decision. We were very happy with that part of the experience.

SCR Northern is an absolute fantastic company to work with. I have been having issues with my furnace dating back February, 2019. Each time I called they came out to address the issues ASAP.
All of the techs are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. Tammy, who handles the majority of the calls, is also amazing to work with. From helping with payments to staying on top of handling our furnace issues, I am very pleased and impressed.
Our furnace ended up needing to be replaced, which they were able to send an employee to give us a quote immediately on a Monday and per request I needed the furnace

I sincerely wish I'd have never done business with these snakes. They rob you with a smile on their face. The work was good, but the estimate was intentionally misleading, and ended up being over 50% more than what I expected to be paying. Then, after that, they had the gall to hard sell me to replace the central air that they reinstalled with the new furnace. I will never do business with these crooks again, and wouldn't recommend them to my worst enemy.

If you want to pay $500 for someone to come out to your place and tell you they don't know what is wrong with your furnace, and that it will take them an additional 8 hours and thousands of dollars to find the problem and then try to sell you a whole new furnace, call these guys. Or save yourself the time, extra money and lies and call their competition. We ended up paying $400 to have a small, private company come out, diagnose it within 10 minutes of being here, AND fix it, saving us the $4000-$6000 scr wanted. Steer clear of these scam artists.
