Blackwell Law Group
Blackwell Law Group remains open for business. Because the pandemic continues, I prefer to meet physically with clients only when absolutely necessary. Until then, I will continue to talk over the phone as well as email with existing and potential clients. If you have access to Skype or Zoom, those will be an option as well.

If there is one thing the pandemic has taught me it is that most immigration law work does not require face-to-face contact. Not only is it safer, but it is more convenient for clients, especially those who do not live close to my office. During this time, there is no reason why you cannot start work on your immigration case.
Services
I am Sarah Blackwell, the owner and lead attorney for Blackwell Law Group. Like you or someone you love, I am an immigrant. I have emigrated to the U.S. not once but twice. For me, emigrating to the U.S. was all about being with family and having a better life for myself and the people I loved most.
The most common way for someone to become a lawful permanent resident is through a relationship with a U.S. citizen or a lawful permanent resident. We have helped hundreds of families be here in the U.S. with the people they love most. If you're here in the U.S., you may be able to have your immigration interview in the U.S., even if your visa has expired, and sometimes, even if you entered the country illegally.
The U.S. government has laws that determine who is allowed to enter the country. If you are here already, you may be forced to leave. Sometimes you can request an exception to the law that says you are inadmissible. The request for an exception is called a "waiver of inadmissibility, " a "hardship waiver, " or "el perdon."
The greatest benefits of living in the U.S. go to those who are U.S. citizens. Some people can also become U.S. citizens through a parent without the need to get a green card first. Everyone else must first have a green card. After getting a green card, legal permanent residents are eligible to apply for naturalization after a certain amount of time passes.
Sometimes, immigration cases run into difficulties. When a case runs into difficulties, there will always be strict deadlines for taking action, usually 30 days. You must consult with an attorney as soon as you know your case is in trouble. Delaying only makes the case more difficult and more expensive, possibly forcing you to refile your application and incur additional government filing fees as well as even more attorney fees.

I highly recommend Sarah Blackwell as an Immigration Lawyer. My husband and I worked with her it took us 2 years from start to finish with the immigration process. That was even including the changes that occured during the process. We just finished the process July of this year. Now we just are waiting until my husband can go for his citizenship. Everyones process is different but for us it was fast and easy. When we returned my husband received everything within 3 weeks. She was great to work with in this process. I can't thank her enough for everything.
