Services
Exceptional Explorers is a concept created by two mothers in the Livingston, NJ community who saw a need to promote cultural exposure and diversity in kids. As an Occupational Therapist and Speech Language Pathologist, our goal was to create a clean and welcoming space where children can learn and explore in a fun and safe environment, while parents can socialize or finally finish off that report guilt free.
We offer classes as drop-in, 4 packs at a 10% discount, or full semester for a 20% discount. Our most popular special event from last year is back! Come in your costume and join us for Halloween themed crafts, games, fun activities, and of course, play! Returning program where children will do a new activity each week making a mess at our place instead of yours!
Exclusive use of the entire facility for the duration of the party where our staff will take care of all the set up, clean up and running of the party and the parents can relax and enjoy themselves! Looking for a small get together with your pod? We've got you covered! Our pod party is the perfect low-frills option for outings and celebrations with your "quaranteam"!

What a wonderful clean environment for babies/toddlers! My 1yo had a blast and the time went by so fast. We drove over 30 minutes to get here and it was worth it. If we lived closer we’d come here more often. It’s very clean, the employee disinfected the play areas before/after the session. Masks are worn by kids 2+ thankfully.

I had a wonderful experience planning my daughter’s 1st birthday at Exceptional Explorers! The space is beautiful and very clean. The owner and folks that work there are very responsive in the planning process and executed the vision I had for the birthday perfectly. My guests enjoyed the party very much. Look forward to taking my kids back to play in the space again!

We didn't get to give our son a big first birthday due to covid so we wanted to make his second birthday extra special. We checked out many places in the area but chose Exceptional Explorers.
The facility is new, clean, bright, open, and inviting. There is a multi level giant play structure to explore, with several slides, plenty of open play areas, noodle structures, a lego wall, ball wall, and a huge peg board.
When we met with Boris he stated their goal is to have families enjoy the event and to let them take care of everything which is exactly what happened. They coordinate everything, food

Overall great experience from the past 3 visits within one month of bringing my daughters to enjoy the day & meeting new friends. We had our twin girls birthday celebration just last week & I couldn’t have been more thankful on how the staff handled everything for us. If you haven’t gotten a chance to visit with your little one yet, do it, you’ll have just as much fun as they do!

Visited today for open play with my 7yo, 5yo, and 3yo and everything was immaculately clean. My 3yo and 5yo enjoyed themselves, though my 7yo seemed too old for open play. Would return to try out classes for my eldest, but would suggest to other parents interested in open play to skip if they have older kids.

I had my sons 5th Birthday party here last weekend and it was amazing. The staff was wonderful and helped every step of the way. The entire place is super clean. I was allowed to bring wine and food for the adults. The children ate pizza and cupcakes. The children had a blast, the only problem was getting to children to leave!

I had a great experience hosting a first birthday party at Exceptional Explorers! Mark and Boris at Exceptional Explorers helped me figure out the logistics, especially given Covid, and pick out the balloon decorations. They set up the balloons just the way I envisioned.
The kids had such a fun time playing there. The facility is immaculately clean (bonus during Covid times), very well-organized and tastefully decorated, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I was impressed by the variety of play sets -- the kids were all different ages but all found something they loved there.
