Gregg Drilling, LLC (Gregg) has been conducting geotechnical and environmental site investigations for over 30 years. Drilling methods have been used to determine ground conditions, underlying geology and hydrology and the existence of contamination in the soil or groundwater. We employ a wide range of drilling and sampling techniques and tools to provide data for engineering and design.
Gregg Drilling has been providing cone penetration testing (CPT) services throughout California and projects world-wide for over 20 years. Gregg's skilled and knowledgeable operators can retrieve data at a faster rate even in difficult conditions, allowing less time on the job and a lower cost to the client.
Gregg Drilling operates air vacuum excavation systems primarily for utility clearance before drilling activities commence. It is standard practice to either hand auger or air-vac a borehole location to anywhere from 5-10ft below ground surface. This confirms that no utilities are present and drilling activities can commence.
