I had a 15 minutes appointment. I punctually contacted (twice) the number provided and I have been waiting for over 35 minutes listening to the same 8 bars of Handel in a loop. I did not manage to talk to anyone.

Wasn't actually able to give me any advice regarding our rights on our freehold purchase. Asked me to explain the issue, which I did at length, then put me on hold to 'check' - when the advisor finally returned he clearly hadn't listened to anything I said. I had to explain again, just to be told they weren't able to give us any advice. Ridiculous.

I had the same experience as Maryam below. I had a telephone appointment for 14:45, rang dead on time and was told I was number 2 in the queue. Stayed like that for around 10 minutes, then I was told I was number 3(?!) in the queue. I then reverted between 2 and 3 in the queue, then suddenly was put through to a live line. That kept on ringing, no-one answered, then it went dead. I rang back again. This time, it went directly to the live line but again no one answered. I hung up after around 10 minutes, rang again and this time heard an automated message asking if I had an appointment and what

Really bad service.
They previously promised to ring me at a arranged time. However no one phoned I waited 45 minutes no phone call.
I then made a appointment to ring them a certain time. Again I was left on the phone for a half hour and then got cut off!

Would give this zero stars if I could. Made an appointment for 13:25 and was told I am number 1 in the queue. I got to the front of the queue and the line kept ringing and ringing but no one picked up and then it was disconnected. Seems like staff working from home can't be bothered to take the calls. Extremely poor service.

I used the Leasehold Advisory Service telephone consultation service for the first time today. My advisor was absolutely superb: combining clear professionalism with a friendly manner that invited confidence. She listened well, and her questions showed both that she had grasped the essence of my query and that she had the knowledge to suggest courses of action open to me. Her interventions were perceptive and helpful. We were cut off at one point in the call and before I had dialled the main number again, she had called me on my mobile. AMENDED REVIEW:
We have now had two interactions with this service.
Unfortunately, we did not find the service to be helpful in our first call. HOWEVER...
After our first experience we now had another call from a different advisor (this one named Victor) who was very helpful. Very quick in grasping the situation and providing advise on how to proceed.

While I'm confident I would have received the advice I need if I actually got a chance to speak to someone, today's call was an absolute debacle. I had an appointment at 4pm. I called very slightly earlier and was at no 3, gradually I got to no 5 in the queue! By the time I got through 17 minutes had passed. The receptionist instead of helping, just put me in the queue again at no 5! Needless to say I didn't get a chance to speak to anyone. This is the most amateurish arrangement I've ever encountered!

Difficult to review because nothing happened!!! After more than two hours total waiting time (several calls) my wife eventually got through. An appointment was given for later that day. The lady gave us a reference number. I said that we were driving and couldn't make a note of it, but she said it didn't matter. They sent me a reminder by text, great up to now. So I rang on the phone number from my phone which was the number I'd told them that I'd be calling from. It went straight to a queue without giving me the option of entering 1 to say I had an appointment? So I tried again. Same thing. So
