Services
What do moon jumps, saddles, and fashion design have in common? They all need one aspect; proper sewing. Without the essential equipment or know-how, things can quickly go wrong-each thread going through shirt embroideries, household items and fashion choices matter at SINGER Brother Sewing Center in McAllen.
Singer Brother Sewing Center is more than just your everyday sewing machine store. Our top notch sewing center personnel are highly knowledgeable in all aspects from sewing machines, embroidery machines, sewing supplies and novelties. At our Sewing Center, we also offer convenient sewing classes to help you with your projects.
With a reputation that is about as famous as a brand can get, Singer sewing machines are what most people consider to be a must-have brand. At the very least, their products are some of the most recognizable, but once you experience the build quality and reliability for yourself, it is hard to think of a reason to ever switch.
Scissors - sharp sewing scissors are helpful however, most quilt projects are cut mostly with a rotary cutter so fancy, expensive scissors aren't necessary. Do try to keep a pair of scissors purely for cutting fabric/thread so they won't dull as quickly cutting paper. Rulers - Quilting rulers are an important part of the quilting process.

Sewing machines are like vacuums nowadays. It breaks, you toss it and go buy a new one. Well, some folks aint like that. If you take care of your stuff, it will take care of you. These folks are stellar! They are SUPER busy. Dont expect anything done overnight or within a week.. They can fix any type of machine and at a reasonable price. It's hard to find old skool repair shops. Luckily, you can find anything on 10th! Plotted, Scouts out.

I purchased a 350$ serger from this store because I was told that when we buy a sewing machine a professional technician will help you understand and use your new product. I needed help with the serger I bought and the gentleman that helped me out was so fast. He cared less if I walked out not knowing how to thread the serger and sure enough here I am with a 350$ machine that I can’t use because I have no clue as to threading it.

I'm not very happy with my recent experiences. I took my machine to get serviced and had to go back two times because it wasn't done right in the first place and the tension was wrong so the bobbin kept getting caught. One of the men that works there was very annoyed that I came back to get my machine fixed. Acted like I was dumb and resented the fact that I called him out and told him the service they did on my machine was incomplete. He's not used to being called out. I'm considering taking my machine there again because guess what y'all it STILL is having the SAME problem with tension that I
