We complete 200+ jobs per year throughout the Coachella Valley. We offer custom cabinet design services for all rooms in your home. We come to the residence to measure the space, discuss your needs and learn about your style. Then you are invited to our beautiful custom showroom where you will have the opportunity to finalize your wood species, door style, stain color and all of your accessories with personalized service.
We are repeat customers of Son Cabinetry & Design. Matt, Suzette and Rosario are most professional, experienced, friendly, generous with ideas/solutions and customize to our requests. Nothing can help freshen up an older home or help in the sale of a property or inspire your kitchen workspace like a new or remodeled kitchen. Kitchen design is becoming increasingly more important as space is rapidly growing smaller. Designing or remodeling your kitchen can be an incredibly exciting adventure but with it can come a lot of stress, and complication!
Cabinet refinishing means that you keep all components of your existing cabinetry and simply change the color or the finish which is often completed via hand sanding or chemically stripping the existing finish from the wood, then applying new paint or stain. If budget is your main consideration, refinishing is often the cheaper option.

I wanted to thank your crew for a great job on renovating our kitchen, wet bar, and 3 bathrooms. We're very happy with the result... and even happier with the professionalism and service. Sean communicated with us well throughout the project so we always knew what was happening when, and so there were no surprises. And he kept everything on schedule - a rare experience with contractors in the valley! When there were issues or questions we discussed them with Sean and resolved them quickly. The lack of communication and customer service from Matt the owner and most of his subs was appalling. I never would have hired them except Tom the salesperson was good. Matt and crew would show up without an appointment or late if they did have one and then had acted as if they were doing me a favor. He said he was coming over to "finish the job" but didnt have the rest of the drawers with him and demanded final payment before the work was finished. Save yourself a lot of pain and money and do not hire Son Cabinetry!

We moved to Palm Desert in June 2010 and the house we purchased needed a major remodel. We talked to many different contractors and the bids we received were all over the place. We decided to try one more place - Son Cabinetry & Design. The design process was smooth and our cabinets are beautiful and they were delivered and installed on schedule. We received excellent customer service throughout the entire process. They were great to work with as well as being very responsive to any questions/concerns that came up. I am happy with the results of our kitchen; I was NOT happy with the remodel process. The contractor that is used by Son Cabinetry is 1st Atrium and you are presented with 2 separate contracts when finalizing your kitchen design with Son. Be very clear about what is the responsibility of Son Cabinetry and what 1st Atrium's. We were constantly going back and forth between the managers of these companies verifying who was responsible for the errors during our remodel.
