Hi my name is Val Ritter. I'm based out of Tampa Bay area, but will travel anywhere in the world to shoot your destination wedding, engagement or family portraits. I usually spend summers working in Europe. I am easy going and very flexible. I'm there to help you to enjoy your day and document it for years to come.
I love what I do! There's no such a thing as an non-photogenic person. People that feel they don't look good in pictures just didn't have the right photographer! Tops that expose all of the arms tend not to photograph well, so try to go with no less than sleeveless if you must.

Val was absolutely amazing to work with! She was prompt, professional, and directive (which is a major plus during wedding chaos)! Not only did she send us 40+ photos the SAME DAY, we got ALL of our photos 3 DAYS after the wedding and they are all phenomenal! We are extremely grateful for her and will definitely book her again for any event we may have in FL.

Val is great!! We were vacationing in Florida and she captured the best family vaca photos. Also after a long beach day our kids were tired and sunburned, so we wanted to reschedule. She had no problem rescheduling for a couple days later! Professional and personable!

Val is awesome. She photographed our wedding at Tradewinds Island Grand and it was perfect. She knew exactly what she was doing and would guide each person on how to pose so that she could get the best photo. She was so easy to work with and had a great personality that just fit in. Val photographed our wedding on St. Pete Beach in December 2019 as a recommended vendor of our venue. She did a phenomenal job. Since it was a destination wedding for us, we had only talked with her on the phone prior to the wedding. She showed up early and did everything we hoped for. She was unaffected by the fact that I (the bride) was behind schedule and made best use of her time to ensure she was occupied and taking fantastic photos of both bride and groom.

Val was amazing! She managed to capture the details that made our wedding day so special. Our wedding was a small family affair but Val never treated the event as anything but what is was... a grand celebration of love and the start of our life as a married couple.

Val is by far the best photographer I have ever met. She took amazing photos at our wedding, went above and beyond for us all day. She everyone how to pose better, got us water, this list goes on and on. I am not a photogenic person and somehow Val made me look like a model! Every guest at my wedding commented on how great the photographer was at our wedding.

Amazing photographer, she really knows how to make an event or anything look amazing and memorable.
