Camp Motorsport is an exciting and dynamic motorsport-focused summer camp for children ages 9-17. Your child will get the tools they need to build confidence and become a proficient driver, while learning new skills and making new friends. Camp Motorsport is located on 406 acres of rolling meadow surrounded by woods and bordered by the Staunton River.
Your camper will experience hands-on driving instruction and participate in a variety of traditional summer camp activities. Campers receive basic and expert instruction in the classroom as well as on our one-mile paved go-kart track and 20 miles of off-road tracks and trails. They learn basic driving techniques like determining driving lines and proper hand placement in addition to more advanced techniques such as threshold braking.

Multi-session Discount: Sign-up for additional sessions at Camp Motorsport or our sister programs, AstroCamp or Camp CHOP, and receive $100 OFF per session starting with your camper's 2nd registered session. Stay-Over Options - If your camper registers for multiple consecutive sessions they will have the option to remain at our camp between specific sessions with standard camp supervision and special activities.
Camp Motorsport is a beautiful 406-acre facility with paved tracks and off-road tracks and trails for exploring motorsport and outdoor adventures. We are located just two hours north of Raleigh, North Carolina, on the edge of the Staunton River surrounded by groves of oak, crepe myrtle, and walnut trees.

My daughter has attended all three camps at this location: Astro, Motorsport, and Chop. She loved them all. The facilities are great; comfortable dorms, a big kitchen area, and lots of outbuildings for science and motor activities. The 'electives' give students a chance, if they want it, to try out some of the offerings of the sister camps. Swimming in the lake is a big hit, as it the campfire night, skits, and sneak outs. The staff are so friendly and know their stuff. Communication is excellent and the daily photos are so appreciated. This summer (COVID permitting) she is looking forward to a

I sent my 13 year old son for the 2 week session and he LOVED it! He insisted he go back every year. I was sceptical so I drove him the first time so I could check it out. I was extremely impressed. The staff I met were amazing. Everything is very well organized and the facility is massive. The best part is they send daily pictures so parents can see everything their child did that day. And let me say....they will never be bored. Even if it is raining, they go next door to the Astro Camp and do things there. I wish I could have given them 10 stars. I will definitely be sending him every year.

My son just returned from his first camp experience. We live in AZ but were referred to this camp via his Kart league friend. My son loved everything about this camp and he's a picky eater, sleeper, and never been away from home. His first statement off the plane was " I loved it, I can't wait to go next year". We are beyond thrilled. So much to offer, staff was amazing, the camp grounds were clean and had so much to offer. He really loved swimming , carting, the lake, astronomy, games, and his favorite dirt carting. Thank you to all the staff and counselors . HE WILL return next summer.

My son just returned from a two-week sleep away here. He had an amazing time! The grounds are gorgeous, the buildings are well-maintained and the staff is top notch! They are a motor sport camp so all things car related, perfect for my 12-year-old who is obsessed with cars. They also host an Astro Camp for those who is interested in space. While my son was there they did tons of driving on and off road, build rockets and launch to them, did stargazing with the telescopes they have there, learned car mechanics, and so much more, including regular camp stuff: Bonfires, swimming, sports, etc. Another

My son has been attending Camp Motorsport for the past 8 years and we couldn't be happier with them! He has learned so much and looks forward to Camp Motorsport throughout the year.
