Rocky's New York Style Pizzeria

First place I usually don't take the time to leave a review good or bad but this time I must take the time to leave a review..
This is the third time I went to this place and got sick their quality control obviously is pretty bad today I got a pizza and it wasn't very good at all and the worst part of it an hour later I starting to throw up and a few other things like really sick.. two weeks ago I had an anti-pasta salad and got sick as well..
This used to be a nice place to to Eat ? Not Anymore.I don't believe I will ever Come back again..
would I recommend this place to anybody

5 stars for being best in the desert! Impressive pizza sauce! And great toppings!! Overall very happy with their large pepperoni and ground sausage pizza!

We picked up our order using the number they gave us but when we got home it wasn’t what we ordered. We called to tell them and they said. “Oh we had 2 orders with the same number”. Not we’re sorry do you want another pizza. Of we will credit you the difference. (Yes they charged us more for something we didn’t order). Or “hey it’s on us. We’ll credit you for the pizza.” Or”your next one is on us.” Nothing. Zero . Zip. And worse it was my birthday.

After living in DHS for 3 years we finally decided to try Rocky's pizza and now we are sorry we waited so long. The pizza was really good, especially the crust. We ordered sausage, mushroom & onion & it was great. We are looking forward to trying other kinds in the near future.

Best pizza around! I have lived in DHS for ten years now and have never stop in until today. I ordered a Rocky’s special, a cheese pizza with oregano, and their signature Philly cheesesteak sandwich. The food was so delicious I might order more today. My kids and wife loved it. The best pizza in the valley!!!!

We went to dine in, but they were only serving take out at this time. The pizza was amazing!
We will definitely go back to try their other menu items.

Was visiting one of the local spas for a little getaway from the big city. Drove past this place on the way to the hotel. Decided to call in an order of pizza and pasta. Got to the restaurant it had a line almost out the door. I finally got my food and took it back to the hotel. When I opened the boxes the beautiful aroma filled my hotel room. Took my first bite of pizza it transported me back to the streets of Brooklyn New York when I was a boy. Growing up in Brooklyn you know Italian food and this is the absolute most authentic New York style pizza. I would honestly rate this the best pizza from

Best pizza 🍕!!!!!!!!! Was in town visiting some relatives for the night and drove by Rocky’s. My aunt recommended I pick up some pizza for the whole family. I ordered over the phone and the girl that answered was very polite and professional. When I got there was a line and a bit of a wait. As soon as it was my turn I opened the pizza boxes and an amazing aroma flow out of the box. When I got home I ended up eating half of an extra large pizza. It was so so so delicious. Hands down the best pizza I have ever had. I’m truly a pizza critic since I’m from New York and I can tell you this

They seriously need to update the prices on their online menu!! The priced are way higher than on the website. A medium Rocky's special is $21.95! While the pizza was tasty, there wasn't enough meat to make the price worthwhile. I also ordered 2 orders of hot wings. I have no idea what the price of those were, as they weren't on the menu board, and the receipt was not itemized. The service was ok. But I think I'll look for a better value.

Was looking forward to some good pizza; unfortunately, Rocky's was not my kind of pizza.
I ordered a large pepperoni and onions. When I got the pizza home, the cheese was barely melted and the cook must have put raw chunky onions on top of the pizza after pizza came out of oven.
I always keep leftovers for breakfast and/or lunch the next day. However, I ended up tossing the pizza after 1 slice.
Maybe the cook had a bad day?

I've been waiting for them to reopen after summer to give this place a try. Other than the chains and this place, pizza restaurants don't exist in Desert Hot Springs.

We ordered a pizza and calzone for delivery.

The pizza smelled amazing when we opened the box. Turns out, it was really good. It had lots of toppings and the sauce was really good. The crust was just chewy enough.

The calzone was massive! It was full of flavorful ingredients and came with a lot of sauce on the side. Overall, the calzone was good. What would have made it earn that extra star would have been heated sauce

This is my absolute favorite pizza place!!! Quite the regular! They close for summer so leaves me hanging but I always come back because they're awesome!

The best pizza in Desert Hot Springs. I always have a pizza delivered. They're great on the phone and my pizza is delivered in the time they give me.

I love this pizzeria, since moving to the Valley it's my all time favorite spot, I was sadden to learn they close for the season, overall their customer service is great, always friendly, thank you.

Good pizza by size, toppings and price. Also great salads and pasta entrees. Going to try the sandwich lunch combos next.

Not new York style pizza, that's for sure. Dough is tough and bland and too thick. You might as well get a frozen pizza.

Pizza came very fast! Service was great. Wings unfortunately were very chewy and didn't feel quite all the way cooked. Pizza was ok but nothing special. When in town again we'd opt to try another place first

Don't really think this qualifies as New York style pizza. New York might even be mad they are claiming it is lol I was expecting the traditional foldable New York style pizza but this is not it. It's still good pizza though but it's just that, pizza, nothing to special.

If you like pizza a little doughy in the middle, great. If you don't, just order your New Yorker 'well-done'.

The New Yorker is a great deal and you won't be disappointed.
The delivery driver is always nice, as is the indoor staff.

This place looks like the 80s pizza place you went to as a kid to play video games Nothing wrong with that. This blast from the past has great pizza.

Just tried Rocky's for the first time. Awesome food!! We had their antipasto salad, large Rocky's special pizza and ended with cannoli. Due to health restrictions, we could only do take out. The food was ready on time, packed and ready to go as promised.

The salad is huge! Plenty for four or in our case two for two days! Large amount of ham, pepperoni, mushrooms, chunks of cheese, peppers, olives on a bed of fresh lettuce. Dressing on the side to make the trip home. This could be a meal on its own!
