Services
While Coulee Region Implant and Oral Surgery Center may have a new name and face, it is still full of friendly staff who are dedicated to quality dental and oral health care. The practice was started in 1973 by Dr. OJ Anderson. Dr. Tim Durtche joined the practice in 1979. Dr. Les Timm joined Dr. Durtsche in 2015 and is now caring on their legacy with Dr. Chuck Polzin.
Marcy is local to the Coulee Region and has worn many "hats" at CRIOS. She joined Dr. Durtsche after a rewarding position with Mayo Health System. Marcy is currently the office administrator for CRIOS handling everything from OSHA compliance to discussing patient treatment plans. When not at work Marcy enjoys traveling with friends and spending time with her children and grand-children.

At Coulee Region Implant and Oral Surgery Center, you can expect to be treated like a friend. Dr. Timm and Dr. Polzin take the time to get to know each of their clients and truly care about each person's well being. If you are a new patient, be sure to fill out the new patient form on our website to help the registration process run smoothly.
Dr. Timm and Dr. Polzin have the most training after dental school when it comes to IV sedation/anesthesia. IV sedation is highly sought after by our patients. IV sedation provides sleepiness and amnesia so patients can "sleep" through their surgery and then recover in supervised and comfortable surroundings.

This afternoon I had to have a tooth removed. I was nervous and scared. I am no martyr with pain issues, but none the less....that tooth had the added challenge of having crown material overlaying much of it . Every bit of that had to be removed! It was MANDY, who was TOPS at being professional, clearly explaining all of the pre and post procedure and protocol as well as so personable.

Dr. Timm and his team at the Coulee Region Implant & Oral Surgery Center are the best of the best! No one "wants" to have their wisdom teeth extracted, and I am no exception. This is why I waited until after high school. Dr. Timm took time to explain my upcoming surgery and why I would need to have my wisdom teeth extracted, and answered all of my questions, for me and my parents. I was very nervous the day of my surgery, but Dr. Timm and the clinical staff made me feel comfortable and less nervous about my surgery, and they talked to me while starting my IV so I wouldn't feel it. Exceptional service! What a great experience we had! We took our two teenage children to Dr. Timm at Coulee Region Implant & Oral Surgery Center to have their wisdom teeth extracted. Both were very nervous patients, but Dr. Timm and his team of professionals did everything to put their minds at ease, make them comfortable, and answer any and all questions, from patients and parents. I had my top wisdom teeth out there and it was an incredible experience. They put relaxing music on for me, helped answer my million questions and calmed my anxiety. Dr Polzin was to the point and professional. Did a great job. Overall, I would recommend them to anyone. I have high anxiety about any dental procedures and I would have zero fear to go back and see them again. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend these guys! Unfortunately, I had to have a tooth extracted recently. Not the most fun thing to have to do, but they were wonderful. Dr. Polzin was extremely professional and talked me through the entire process and let me know what my options were as well as what to expect. The staff in the room was very comforting throughout the entire procedure. I would not hesitate to recommend them based off of my first experience!
