Services
Remove bandage in 3 - 4 hours (it is ok to leave it on until morning). Then wash your tattoo thoroughly with your hand or paper towel and warm soapy water until you remove all the dryed blood, plasma and any excess color. WHY: Leaving the bandage on for this amount of time allows the tattoo to finish bleeding and oozing plasma.

Got my bellybutton pieced. WORST experience ever. The piercing was not straight, lady was rude and it was continuously infected for over a year. I was told it was MY fault. I cleaned it and took care of it every day. It got so infected the skin split in half. I would add a picture but it would make someone feel icky. There goes my piercing and my money. Don't go here. Please. I beg of you.

I would NOT recommend coming here for piercings. The piecer rushed through my septum piercing and didn't screw in the ball in tight enough that it fell off during my sleep keep in mind that it hasn't even been 24 hours since I got it pierced.
My friend also got a double nostril piercing and they are not aligned at all because once again the piecer didn't take enough time to do her job right. I was extremely disappointed with the service and called asking if they sell replacement pieces and they told me I'd have to come in and ask the piecer, but soon after I called another

Every labor day I come up from OK to have a best friend weekend. This year we decided to do tattoos. We searched for the perfect spot trying in Topeka and Lawrence. Using Yelp as a guide we attempted to use a shop in Lawrence, but immediately decided to look elsewhere when their artist was rude, unhelpful, and impatient. Enter Fine Line and Kevin. Not only was Kevin patient and chill he really understood what we were wanting even if we had a hard time explaining. He was funny and talented. Other staff in the shop were accommodating and friendly as well. I got another piercing while waiting. Seriously

Horrible customer service. I went in, hoping to get a small one word tattoo- something that wouldn't take longer than 30 minutes. The first time, I was told they were busy and to come back 2 hours later. I stupidly came back two hours later. I was told they were still too busy and they couldn't fit in a walk-in- that's fine, no big deal. But then I asked for an appointment and she said they were all booked for a whole week - without even looking at the appointment book. I felt stupid for even attempting to go to Fine Line. Called Absolute Tattoo 5 minutes later - they easily fit

Literally the most unprofessional tattoo parlor I have been in this decade.
Zero attention to the customer. Acted surprised when I asked to see a photo portfolio, claiming their work was on the wall - it was all flash and a small digital photo frame in the corner.
Went in about four times hoping maybe it was due to being busy one day, or being grumpy another day, or not having the people on site who worked on a specific part of the body there that day, but by the fourth time, I had a terrible taste in my mouth for the place.

I recently went to Fine Line for a piercing because I couldn't find another place in Topeka and their prices are better than shops in Lawrence. I decided to give them another try and I was pleasantly surprised. Jill was friendly and professional and my piercing was done right away even though I just walked in without an appointment. I am very happy with the piercing and it is healing great. I also noticed that there are privacy screens the tattooers can set up so the people waiting aren't staring at you, which I thought is a great idea and addressed some of my earlier concerns. I went
