Stitches (Formerly Steigman Embroidery) is your one stop shop for sewing machine sales and repairs. Dan is certified in Janome and Bernina repairs and has acquired his Janome Dealership. Sewing machines are usually repaired within a day or two. Pricing is listed on our Sewing Machine and Repair page.

Please come in and drop off you machine for it's annual service M-F, 9-4. Stitches is a specialty embroidery, sublimation printing and machine quilting shop. We use the Ricoma SWD 15-needle embroidery machine to make many art pieces, hats, patches, and adding your logo to garments. We offer "Custom Machine Quilting by Barbara".
Services
Stitches (formerly Steigman Embroidery and Machine Quilting) came about from semi-retired folks wanting to do something to assist the community. We came to Camp Verde because one of our sons is attending Rainbow Acres. We decided to put our shop here because we wanted to support the town Rainbow Acres was in.
Dan owned a Quilt Shop in Corning, Ca., called Quilt'n Thyme Sew and Vac for 15 years. He sold Elna and Janome sewing machines and learned to service them in Mahwah, New Jersey-Janome's headquarters. He also took many special training classes. He passed on his shop to his son in 2016 and together they went to Bernina USA, Aurora, IL, as his son determined to add Bernina to the shop.
I have set up a computer with multiple digitizing programs and thousands of art files for my embroidery customers to use. This will be on a first come first serve basis with a 4-hour limit per session. There is NO CHARGE for this service at this time. I will be offering classes eventually, once I get moved and better established.

I am so happy to see this shop open in Camp Verde. I find them friendly and knowledgeable on their machines. I have found them friendly and take their time answering questions and willing to help on the smallest things. The only downside is no fabric, but Walmart and Prescott aren't that far I suppose. :)
