I was there Tuesday-Thursday. Nice, clean motel, walking distance to many stores, restaurants, diners. Fastrac gas station conveniently across the street. Their housekeeping staff do an exceptional job cleaning. The man in the rental office is a wonderful friendly person. I enjoyed my relaxing stay, I would recommend Christy's motel and hope to be back up there spring or early summer 2022. Thank you staff at Christy's motel for all that you do. Hope to see you guys soon again.

We have been coming here for years with family and find it clean, convenient, and economically reasonable. We are treated like family.
Fastrac is right across the road for any items we might need and the grocery store is a short walk. Mini-golf is right there and the walk to the center of town is easy. Steve runs a nice place and we will continue to frequent Christy's.

Very clean rooms. Spacious as well. Its a very friendly atmosphere with the owner out and about all the time. Movie every night for the kids. Do yourself a favor, bring a hair dryer and your coffee pot like we always do where ever we stay. It will prevent any negative reviews. If your looking for a nice quiet place with friendly people you’ll enjoy your stay. And if you forgot anything, there is a store across the road.

This is our third visit to the area, for snowmobiling. These accommodations are the best. Rooms are spacious. Bed is very comfortable. Very organized for sled parking and vehicle parking. Convenience store/gas station directly across the street. Walking distance to restaurants. Easy access to the trails. Steve recommended that we treat the fuel because the temps were supposed to dip -23 overnight. Thanks for that tidy bit. Saved us a big headache. Love watching his you tube daily updates! See you in a few weeks!

After renting a room and enjoying the bar scene we returned to our room we were told at 130am that they would not utilize a generator because the power had gone out. It was 30 degrees outside and we were told by the man working the desk that we should keep our door closed so the heat stays in. who takes money for a room and then expects you to sit… in the dark and with no heat!! We were treated horrible because we asked for a refund. The man followed us to our room and forced us to leave immediately. Very disappointed and speaking with a lawyer over this mess! We visited Old Forge due to a wedding and we decided to stay there because of the price/proximity to the church. The service is really good, they have a tiny-cute pool that we didn't use (it was raining), the rooms were clean and something that was nice about them is that they have make up remover tissues in every room. It is not fancy, but I would definitely go back there.

This is a very nice motel for the price. We came out to old forge for their winter festival the weekend after thanksgiving. They did not jack up the rates due to the holiday. The rooms are small as you would expect from the outside view. The rooms are super clean which is way more important to me than size. I mean we were looking for a place to sleep not live. The shower had great pressure and the water stayed hot enough for two adults and a teen to shower in the morning. A great value for the price.

Stayed at this motel 2 nights last week. My wife and I started our visit to Old Forge by checking out 2 other motels. After deciding against those other motels we popped into this one hoping for a room.
My wife went into the office to see if they had a room available and luckily they did. When we checked out the room the first thing I noticed was a clean smell. Over the years when we have gone to these small motels one of the first thing's I notice is a musty smell but not here. The room smelled clean and was clean.

Great rates and very convenient to the town's shops/activities/restaurants. Steve, the owner, is very accommodating and friendly. If you have kids, Steve puts on an evening movie outside by the pool each nite, weather permitting. Kind of like a mini drive-in. Rooms are modest and comfortable. A definite place to stay when visiting Old Forge.
