Brent Industries
Textile reconditioning and industrial recycling services from Brent Industries can help your company reduce waste and save money, protecting our environment and creating a positive impact on your bottom line. Utilizing a mineral spirits based dry-cleaning process, we are able to recondition these materials for reuse, eliminating the costly alternative of disposal.

With our unique on-site mini-petrochemical refineries, the solvents used for cleaning and similar constituents removed during the process are reclaimed and refined to produce a clean product for reuse. Brent Industries has developed a unique "Closed Loop Reconditioning Process" for the provisioning and cleaning of reusable absorbent products containing non-hazardous, quasi-hazardous, and hazardous substances.
Services
Founded in 1977 in central Alabama, Brent Industries has grown from a small regional glove reconditioner to a company with four processing plants and customers in 26 states. We provide a smart alternative to the traditional and more expensive methods of disposing of textiles and related products that contain non-hazardous and hazardous materials, in direct compliance with all EPA mandated guidelines.
Brent Industries, Inc. has pioneered a unique technique for the cleaning and reconditioning of textiles such as absorbents, work gloves, and wiping cloths that contain hazardous and quasi-hazardous substances. Our processing equipment enables us to clean these troublesome items without experiencing the residual environmental issues (particularly wastewater) confronting the traditional textile rental companies who process conventionally.
Yes, provided such materials are transported in sealed vessels, such as drums with lids and locking mechanisms. Aside from the obvious economic advantages, glove cleaning also helps achieve environmental objectives by reducing industrial waste and landfill use. In order to understand the unique needs of individual users, Brent Industries, Inc. offers on-site surveys and recommendations.
There's a certain measure of pride that stems from wearing out a pair of work gloves, a set of overalls, or some boots. It's the tangible evidence of lots of effort and hard work. But rather than letting your workwear and wiping materials simply decay in a landfill somewhere, why not honor their hard work by giving them a second chance to work with you?
Now more than ever, businesses are looking for clever ways to reduce their costs, improve worker safety, and practice environmentally friendly methods, all at the same time. After you've already looked at the materials you've been using, how to make the workplace more efficient, and have even revamped your work schedules, it's time to look for opportunities that are hiding in plain sight.
