CLC Landscape Design is an award-winning landscape architecture and landscape construction firm. For over 40 years CLC Landscape Design has been the preeminent design/build landscape firm in northern New Jersey. We love what we do! Formerly an unusable slope, we created space for a children's lawn by installing a natural fieldstone wall. In this backyard, we installed a blend of stone and plantings to create an inviting outdoor living space. Bordering the patio is one of our favorite perennials, a special purple Geranium that blooms from June through October!
We are thrilled over the outcome of our backyard project. We have received so many compliments already and look forward to many years of enjoyment. Our compliments to your whole crew including John, Ariel, Rudy, Jorge, but most especially to Rob. His attention to detail and amazing patience and kind, easy-going manner was greatly appreciated.

I am more than happy with the work CLC did for my front yard landscape. I moved into this home about 2 years ago and the front landscape has always been an eye sore and could have use way more curb appeal. I found CLC online and chose them because of their fantastic reviews. I was not disappointed at all. Nick, Daniel, and Andrew did an amazing job. They were professional and easy to work with, they addressed all over our concerns. I will be using them again! We will enjoy this landscape in the years to come as the plants mature! Thanks guys!!

CLC recently completed a total revamp of our backyard to include a pool and outdoor living space. Our property was rather challenging with wetland boundaries, endangered wildlife concerns, odd property lines and limited space. Even after several other companies had turned us down on account of complexity, CLC handled the project with ease from start to finish. Eric was confident from the beginning that CLC could make our vision happen and made the initial steps easy and welcoming. Andrew addressed all the challenges and furnished a completed design plan that gave no indication of any limitations

We used CLC many years ago to design and construct our backyard patio and landscape and we couldn't have been happier with the results. All of the plants and trees they used have grown more gorgeous over time and our backyard is like an oasis. This year we hired CLC to come back and work on a riverbed for drainage and some additional plantings in the front and back yards. If you're looking for the best, look no further. CLC was a pleasure to work with for an entire transformation of our property. An almost 3 week long project that entailed ripping out an existing aging landscape and starting over again with a beautifully designed one. From start to finish, you knew you were working with a company that separates themselves from the rest. We had some home flooding issues out back. The team went ABOVE AND BEYOND to help redo + redirect our drainage and piping and install a new beautiful patio. As an added bonus, they helped do a spring cleanup out back and made it feel less like we were in a jungle jail.

I have had three projects of varying sizes - designed and installed by CLC. I couldn't have been happier with each and would hope Rich, Jr. and his team might be available for a fourth! This company was advertising aggressively on Facebook so I thought they may need some business during this difficult time. Well, I guess no good deed goes unpunished:) I told them I have a small design and install project and was ok if it was too small. I offered to take pics and submit them remotely to save them a trip. They said they were interested but they never followed. I called 3 times with no callback. If your business is a success and you are busy or my project is too small then I am happy for you, but set that expectation in your advertising or initial call. I will work with those

I spent a lot of time researching landscape designers to overhaul our backyard. After researching and meeting with various designers it was hard not to select CLC. They were incredibly professional and upfront from the start. They provided two thoughtful designs incorporating various elements we desired such as paver patio, fire pit, and water feature.
They are not the cheapest but frankly, you get what you pay for. Alex was our project manager and he was prompt, honest, and executed on time and on budget.
The quality of the work CLC and the subcontractors they use is exceptional.

CLC did a wonderful landscaping job for us! We had no problem getting them to come out to give us a quote -Eric knew exactly what we wanted -it was like we had the same vision for the space being done. The job was completed on time and they cleaned up every spec of dirt -you wouldn't know work was even done in the area. It looks beautiful and we were very happy with the outcome. I would totally recommend them for your landscaping needs.

The family-owned and operated CLC Design in Ringwood, New Jersey has landscaped two of my homes in Ridgewood, New Jersey. I worked with Rich Cording Jr. on both homes, one in 2011 and 2014. Rich is an excellent listener and takes what you envision or want and comes up with a workable plan. He is attentive and professional and his follow up customer service is unsurpassed. Rich called and came over to my home several times to check on the status of plants (to see if they needed more water, how they were growing, etc).

CLC has just completed a total landscaping of the front of my property. They provided everything promised, efficiently and in beautiful condition. Our job included new, large trees; shrubs; perennials; stone paths; a sprinkler system; and restructuring the driveway. We were asked about our preferences originally, and as the design was tweaked, we were consulted with every slight change. Once the decisions were made on paper, the entire job was done in under two weeks. From the top down, everyone was considerate and skilled, patiently answering all our questions.
