Osteopathic Medicine is a unique form of American medical care that was developed in 1874 by Andrew Taylor Still, M.D., D.O. Dr. Still was dissatisfied with the effectiveness of 19th Century medicine. He believed that many of the medications of his day were useless or even harmful. Dr. Still was one of the first in his time to study the attributes of good health so that he could better understand the process of disease.

I am giving one star only for the simple fact that I do believe Dr. O’Neil cares about his patients to some extent. This practice is unorganized and simply put, they have no idea what they are doing…… unfortunately this office is like many others where money absolutely is above patient care and all else. The front desk ladies are rude and have no idea what they are speaking about when it comes to insurance BUT they sure like to argue as if they are experts. Wait times are always long Except for Televisits. The lab is a MESS and by mess I mean I don’t even like having labs drawn there. The

Abandonment - When you need assistance from an actual doctor they will not be available for 6 months. Same exact experience everyone else is having. I have been a patient of one of the drs for nearly 20 years and I liked him on a personal level. My hope was as I got older, I would have the support of a Dr. knew me personally and was able to assist if my needs increased. In the past, if it was urgent, I could count on him stepping up. Has not been the case for several years. The office/practice has done nothing but get worse and it was never good. If you want a bill generating factory with little

It really saddens me to write this. I've been a patient for years and am now in the market for a new practice. My PCP in Enfield is a good person and good doctor, but the practice itself is a mess. Like others stated, communication is a major problem. I'm not going to review my medical history, but last fall I had an issue that was of serious concern to me. I never actually saw my PCP (despite asking) and had to see a PA. It was really uncomfortable and then I had to chase her down for a return phone call, lab results and the referral. If you call them on the phone you sit on hold for a long time

This office is terrible! I've been waiting for a referral to a neurologist since April 23, 2021. Had abnormal MRI on May 8, 2021. Still symptomatic. I called the office on 5/18, 5/21, 5/26, 5/28. Heather, Karen, and Kristin have assured me that someone will call me back. My messages have been forwarded to Gina Ahern. They tell me that she is the highest person at Springfield/Enfield Medical Associates. They tell me there's no CEO. They just don't care. Does anyone have advice?

Abysmal in every way, these guys epitomize dispassionate, assembly line "healthcare". Like stepping into a battlefield triage tent, visits are disorganized and very brief. Inconvenient patients may find themselves shuffled onto the ignoble back burner of oblivion. As others have mentioned contacting the office by phone is simply not an option.

I switched to this practice years ago when I neded to for insurance reasons. My dr was wonderful but she couldn't stand being a part of a practice that is all about how many patients you see a day and really doesn't care about the individuals. Once she left all of the other ineptitude became more obvious. This practice caters to collecting money from medicare, if you have private insurance they can't be bothered. Doctors are fleeing this practice and they put in no effort at all to switch you to another doctor in the practice. Once you decide you've had enough and are ready to go elsewhere good

Dr Drennan will talk over you during your visit, then refuse to write referrals to your preferred doctors for specialty care, only pushing other doctors in his practice. Illegal and immoral as a provider. I went in for a TBI referral to neuro since I was new to the area. I walked out with a prescription for Nexium, which he never submitted to the pharmacy. Don't let him find out your cancer markers are elevated. The quality of care is even worse.

My aunt is a new patient at this practice. Her doctor is great, however, there was a scheduling conflict. When I realized I had a 2:00 with her in Enfield for a follow up (last minute) and a 3:30 at the VA in West Haven for cardiology consult. (previously scheduled in advance) While on the phone I was told it would be considered a no call no show. I tried to explain to the receptionist and she did not care, she is rude, and has no good people skills. I understand places have policies, but they usually inform their patients or give a warning when it first happens. I can wait no big deal it is just

The patient portal is a joke.
I had blood work done in August after my physical, which should be done BEFORE so the doctor can actually have a conversation with the patient about the results. Two months later and I've hear NOTHING about the results and nothing is in the patient portal.
I'm going back to my doctor in Northampton. I'd rather pay out of pocket.
