I have never met nor worked with an accounting firm so professional, responsive and informative as Emelia! I've always had a simple straight forward tax return all my life however this past year's events changed that. Emelia is incredible with knowing and applying the tax laws to attain the maximum allowances by state and federal laws. Although she can be accessed and able to conduct the whole process by electronics from anywhere in the country, I visited her in her office. Spoke to Emelia on the phone to set up a meeting for a new business consult. She told me that she would look at her schedule to see when she is available that and she would call me right back with the date. I didn't get a call back but she sent a calendar reminder date to meet me the following week via text and email. The date of the appointment came and I drove all the way to her office to find it locked and no one there. I gave her a call and she answered the phone stating that she did not know she set up an appointment. What a lie! How can she not know about the meeting when she set a calendar

This was my first time working with a CPA since becoming a sole-proprietor so I was very hesitant about trusting someone to work with. I'm always hesitant to work with someone new, but I'm going to keep coming back to Emilia for years to come. I'm a full-time YouTuber, musician and have several revenue sources so my tax situation is pretty complex. I had a new tax situation this year and I was unable to fileo my own. Emelia was very patient as I explained my situation and was able to explain what I needed to do and how to do better for 2020. Never an issue with communication and she has very flexible hours (I met with her on a Saturday morning). I would definitely recommend her services. Very knowledgeable.
