*they reuse the same 1 ice pack for everyone** Front desk incident: my kid got hurt and we went to the front desk to ask for an ice pack. The Front desk male handed one to us. We proceeded to walk out to head home and he yelled at us, "are you leaving? Trying to steal the ice pack?". I turned around and said no I thought it was for us to take. He replied that they only had one to hand out and we couldn't steal that one. I immediately handed it back. GROSS! It never crossed my mind that a gymnastics place would reuse an ice pack and not have disposable ice packs or baggies with ice to hand out.

I would NEVER reccomend this gym to anyone. Ever. First of all, we were visiting and decided we wanted to do open gym. So we called a few places and Danik "looked" the best. Well, it wasn't. The equipment was amazing. They have two floors, a lot of bars and beams, trampolines, foam pits and more. So we called Danik and asked if they had open gym. And they did. They said it was $10 for one hour. Which seemed pretty fair because of all the equipment they had. But they didn't tell us that unless you were a "Team" kid, you weren't allowed to use any of the really nice equipment. We were only allowed

Pulled my niece out of her class today. The coach admitted she didn't know how to do the tricks and moves she was teaching and couldn't teach my niece. Unprofessional. Will not be going there again.

I’m in the girls team here and it’s great. The coaches know what they’re doing and help us progress super well. Our whole team is like a family

I had a great experience at Danik Gymnastics! Coach Grayson showed the perfect amount of professionalism and charisma, and worked well with the kids too! I will be sure to return again!

Coach Grayson is a phenomenal coach. Not only because he is a handsome hunk but because of his incredible knowledge of the sport (borderline better than Simone Biles). My only complaint is how easy Grayson can get girls. It really frustrates me. I guess he is just that buff and good looking. All hail the Goosiah 🙌

We did a preschool class and had a coach physically yank my shy child away from the group and then yell at her to get over it. When we complained they said my child (who was just nervous about the new class and 3 years old) was to blame for the coach's very inappropriate behavior. An example of a business unfit to be working with small children.

Our experience here has been okay. It just seems like this place has way too many kids with young teens teaching them with no person in charge and no real direction for kids advancing or reaching goals. Today is their spring showcase and there is no owner here to even see how to goes or see how poorly organized/run it seems. Way too many kids. The girls are in lines of 15 waiting forever for their turn to do something. It just feels like this place is happy to take your money but no one has a genuine interest in if your child is advancing to the next skill/level.

Great place!!! Staff is very friendly and professional. Clean and well equipped facility.
My daughter came in for a couple of training sessions and when I was waiting for her I observed a preschool class, the coaches were amazing with those little kids: very engaging, friendly, created fun and pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommend this gym to all aspiring gymnasts.

Please be advised, parents, that if you do not submit a drop form prior to the first of the month, you will be charged the full month's tuition for all children enrolled, regardless of participation. Asking for a refund will result in a terse, "Tuition is non-refundable. It was stated on the registration form. Sorry!" Empathy and flexibility should not be expected as a part of their customer service.

Was looking for a nice clean place to sign my daughter up for gymnastics. Went to Danik for a trial class. First of all the older lady at the front is not friendly what so ever. But I can look past that. During my daughters class I saw something out of the corner of my eye and it was a mouse. YUCK!! The other moms saw it to and we told the instructor and she acted as if it was a normal occurrence. Then we notice a mouse trap right by the door where the kids Go in and out. (One of the one where the trap snaps down, which is not safe with little kids around!) I'm glad it was just a trial class

Had my daughter in tumbling here for two year and the program really went down hill. The coaches were changing constantly and getting worse and worse, and the class size got larger. Toward the end, my daughter would sit idle for up to 15 minutes of the hour-long class, while the 2 coaches would work with one person in the class. My daughter's skills have barely advanced at all in the two years. I finally left the gym after I watched my daughter do another girls hair for 17 minutes, as the coaches ignored her and most of the class while they worked with one girl. And no one seems to be overseeing

My son loves the parkour class and the instructors. Seems like a great class to get some good coaching and improve his skills. However, the lady at the front desk was somethings else. She obviously doesn't like her job and does not prefer to have any human interaction. I don't write reviews often, but felt Danik needed to know they are hindering their business by keeping this lady as their face of the company. Every interaction I've had with her is obviously a nuisance. I hope the people who own Danik reads the reviews and does something about it. All the other reviews I&apos

Very overcrowded! Felt like the Groupon of gymnastics. The coaches are too busy standing around chatting to actually help the students.

My daughter enjoyed going there. We had signed up for a class on Fridays (which is listed on their class paper schedule that the receptionist handed me as well as their website). The receptionist urged me to sign up TODAY because the class was filling up. She had me specify the class, the time and the age of my daughter on the paperwork. I received a call a few days later that there was no kindergarten class and I had to take another class. She was rude when I questioned it and blamed it on the "new system". If there was such an interest in the class and it was almost full, why does the

Our daughter started out in recreational classes at Danik last year, and when team try out announcements were made, she wanted to try. She made it to the Level 1 team. On the first day of practice for the team, I drove my daughter to drop her off. (We were told that it's preferred that parents do not stay.) My daughter was 6, so I didn't feel comfortable dropping her off without knowing where to send her. We waited and waited in the sitting area, with no one coming over to instruct us where to go. I had to get back to work (practice was in the morning during the summer, and luckily I

All of the classes look too large for the instructor:student ratio. Terrible parent seating area & parking. Unhappy employees.
We enrolled our three and four-year-old for one month. Two of the four classes only had one instructor for 10-12 kids, which caused them to be extremely unproductive. The kids pile up at each station and spend half the class waiting around, and about 15 minutes total going to get a drink of water. Even on the days with two teachers, they looked frazzled and unhappy. The woman who answers the phone and sits at the front desk is rude, cold and unhelpful. I felt like

The girls' competitive team coaches are focused on winning, which is good. Many are bullies, though, and the top gymnasts leave for gyms that use positive and professional methods to get results. Unfortunately, there's not much else in Meridian. If you're considering competition, then look closely at several coaching sessions and speak to some of the parents who have been there for awhile, before making a decision. The daily grind is difficult enough, without having the love of the sport ground down by poor coaching.

I'd first like to say how amazing Coach Amanda is! She was my daughters coach for summer classes, for a few weeks. She recently moved to the advanced class and we are definitely missing her. She was great at giving the students direction and correcting any mistakes in a nice/gentle manner. The two girls that took over for Amanda don't seem to enjoy their jobs much. They sit and chit chat with each other during most of the class. There is minimal instruction/direction to the students. They aren't very good with young children, based off of the interactions I have seen between them

Danik is awesome. I've seen a lot of growth in the last five years as their junior olympic programs have really grown to be quite impressive. This review focuses on the competitive team. Comparing gyms can be difficult, but if you're looking for excellence, Danik has consistently been scoring very high for years. One of Danik's main differentiators is that most of their best gymnasts were trained either exclusively or primarily at Danik rather than simply being recruited from other gyms once they were already good. Danik's coaching staff is tough in practice, but coaches care

We usually come here during Friday's because they have open play for $5 per kid. Great place to get the jiggles out! You can hang out by the sides to watch the kids from afar but I suggest to go with your kids to watch them close. Open play starts at 10 and ends at 12 so come as soon as they open so you get most of your time. I just hope they have some more adult supervising on every area to help out the kids.
