Services
At Mathis Custom Remodeling, we stress Integrity and excellence from the initial Design to the remodel project completion. Our team of highly qualified tradesmen and subcontractors will work to ensure your home is everything you imagined. Mathis Custom Remodeling did a full remodeling job of my late father's house in San Diego.
We seamlessly take your home project from the initial idea stage throughout Interior Design, Architectural drawings, and engineering, then oversee the process with expert project management to arrive at project completion. We also take care to keep the job site as clean as possible. We know it can be stressful to be without the most used rooms of your home, your kitchen and bath, so we provide realistic timelines and stick to them.
Here at Mathis Custom Remodeling, our contractors are ready to transform your outdated bathroom into a soothing environment that conveys rest and seclusion after a long day at work. Enjoy a long bath or a hot shower in a bathroom that perfectly fits your style and needs. Our contractors are custom bathroom remodeling experts, having worked for over 25 years in the San Diego area with many satisfied customers.
Over the years, the kitchen has gained popularity as the central room in many San Diego homes. It enjoys, in most cases, round-the-clock patronage starting from early morning breakfast to a late-night snack. No matter the occasion, the kitchen is always there, ready to serve. At Mathis Custom Remodeling, our contractors want your remodeled kitchen to be a perfect combination of excellent interior design and practical functionality.
As we age, senior accessibility issues bring bathroom hazards that may not have previously existed. Mathis Custom Remodeling provides several types of Aging-in-Place remodels, everything from installing a walk-in bathtub to easy-access shower conversions. Contact us today to see how our team at Mathis Custom Remodeling can help you age in place with senior-accessible shower conversions and bathroom construction.

Raelene and Phil Mathis of Mathis Custom Remodeling are kind and ethical people. This is an important point to make in the world of contractors. I simply did not have the time to pick all the colors, materials, patterns, etc. I told Raelene what I wanted and said, "Make it happen." And that she did! I highly recommend their work. They are punctual, energetic, and come full of great ideas to make your bathroom remodel dreams a reality. They are conscientious and methodical with their work.
Additionally, they went above and beyond by resealing a portion of my kitchen floor that was driving me nuts

Our kitchen, dining room, and bath remodels turned out so great. The Mathis Custom Remodeling team took care of us from start to finish. Our neighbors are so jealous of our custom cabinets! With the special pull out drawers in the kitchen pantry, and the custom hair dryer drawer in my bath vanity. And they were even less than Home Depot cabinets would have been.
The tile work looks like it belongs in a 2 million dollar San Diego home and the project came in under budget. You can't beat that. Thank you Phil!
