Went in for lunch and they weren’t particularly busy. Ordered, waited and waited finally 35 minutes into our way we asked about the status of our food. The waitress who is trying very hard informed us they hadn’t even started our food. When you’re on your lunch hour you can’t wait 45 minutes for your food. Won’t be back for lunch!

The place was not very busy, especially for the amount of waitresses there were but still took 30min to get an omelet. Also when they brought it out my toast wasn't done yet which was fine until I finished over half my meal before it was brought to me. Maybe should look into a new toaster because mine at home does it in less than a minute. The omelet had all the bacon on one side and hash browns were crispy little strings. I use to love this place and that is the only reason it got 2 stars instead of 1.

We did not stay to eat. The waitress was absolutely rude. The cook sneezed all over not covering her mouth. It said wait to be seated. Waitress go find a seat. She came to the table and asked what we wanted. We said menus. No we only serve 4 items and that's it. I turned to her and said no thank you we will leave now. Ridiculous only 4 items and that's it. Never again.

They will make an impression on you. The (/person in charge) came over to each table to check on us and ask how the food was. They care about their customers. Just before us, an elderly man walked in and he was greeted by his name. I thought that was nice, they have loyal customers and care to remember them. The same happened when a few women walked in. Made me want to be a loyal customer.
I did get a strand of hair in mine but meh, it's all ok. The food was overall good. My husband was very satisfied and content with his plate. The tables were a bit sticky.
Overall service was excellent

We heard on the radio that the Homestyle Cafe had prime rib on the weekends. It was FABULOUS!!!! Incredible flavor, and everything fresh. Snow peas were cooked perfectly and my husband had the tiger shrimp fettuccini Alfredo. AMAZING!! The shrimp was huge and everything was delicious. Great great job!

The wait staff was super friendly, but other than that it was a very awful experience. I waited 45 minutes for an omelet and I could not finish it due to it's poor quality. How do you take almost an hour to make something that takes ten minutes tops and then it's inedible? They need a new line cook or they should shut the doors.

I had the chicken fried steak breakfast with home style potatoes and rye toast. Everything was really good, but the steak portion was smaller than I expected. The omelletes looked great, too, and they had excellent hash browns. Trappey's Red Devil got sauce, not too bad! My only quibble is they don't have Dr. Pepper, (nobody wants Mr. Pibb, ok?) and I asked for hot tea and got served warm tea.
