Convenient location. Right off the highway (which means it's a bit noisy). It's a good overnight spot ... would have liked to explored the grounds ... they seemed well kept and pretty.
Lots are super close together, narrow, and short. Our truck stuck out into the lane while unhitching/hitching ... with the back of the rig almost out in the other lane. So if your rig is big... just be aware you'll have to park in the over flow parking area. Also, our sewer connection was about 4 feet from the picnic table for the lot beside/behind us ... which is a bit close imo.

We've stayed here several times on our way to Arizona. Most recently we were having trouble with my husband's car not starting (we were towing it behind our rv). The battery was totally dead and the owners went above and beyond and helped us out. We are so helpful, they brought over a battery charger and were so nice. I would give it 5 stars but unfortunately it's right off the expressway so quite a bit of noise all through the night. Also they could use a lot more gravel because it was quite muddy. But the service was Exceptional from the owners!

This is a nice family-type campground. We only stayed one night while passing through Illinois on our way out west. It is clean and well maintained. Our pull thru site was very level. The price was good for water and electric. While we liked that it was an easy on and off the interstate, it was noisy overnight. The water was too laden with bleach. Our coffee in the morning was undrinkable.

We stopped here because it was right off the highway and had great reviews! However, upon arrival, the woman working in the office was INCREDIBLY rude to me and made me feel very uncomfortable. I’m guessing this was due to my appearance- it was hot and I was wearing shorts and I have tattoos. Anyway she proceeded to tell me that we weren’t allowed a tent site because we were car camping. I told her we don’t use electric or water, we have our own, and she told me we couldn’t stay unless we paid for an electric hookup site. So we did, the site was about 10 ft wide and covered in the sharpest

Great little campground. Owners are extremely friendly and helpful. Grounds are clean. There are hiking trails, a lake for fishing, catch and release, a swimming pool and more activities that we didn't do. Bathrooms are clean, but there isn't any handicapped stalls or showers. This is right off the interstate, but was quite.

Such a great little place to stay! Right off the highway but not a problem. Perfect pond to catch and release fish. Owners are very helpful! Even filled up our propane tank and delivered it to us right away! If we were not just passing through, we would have stayed longer! Thanks Barb and Gary for being so accommodating with our stay dates!

Beautiful little campground right off I-70. Traffic noise not a worry, it's there but subtle. East in easy out. Large level sites w/full 50/30 hookups Many pull through. Store is well stocked during season. Beautiful lake. Pool laundry playground restrooms all avail. Welcoming office staff.

This is a beautiful little campground. My family had a great time.The owners are friendly and accommodating. It was relaxing and fun wrapped into one. Paddle boats on the lake and a refreshing swimming pool. Bathrooms are clean and the showers are hot! Shady spots and sunny spots, too. Pets are welcome.The laundry facility is big and it only cost $1.00 to wash and .50 cents to dry which is unheard of today. If you are ever driving through, you should stop here. You wont be disappointed.

We had a great experience at this campground. The campsite was clean, and spacious. The bathrooms were very clean. The owners were very nice and acknowledged us every time they saw us. It was quiet during our stay. The pond had a lot of algae, so it made fishing harder. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and can't wait to go back.

Love this place! I have camped here several different times. The new owners are wonderful folk. Each and every time I go back something new is done to the positive. They are constantly improving. It is a quaint and quite place that is just nice, and lower rates that make if affordable to enjoy camping. They have a nice pond, and little bridges that make for a romantic walk back to the cabins, tucked away surrounding the pond. A playground to keep the kids entertained along with a very nice pool. The mini grocery store helps when you are out of something, or if you don't feel like cooking

The owners are new here, and very friendly. The campground is clean, quiet, but had a couple "quirks" that may just annoy me, or may irritate others too. Teens from the nearby trailer park walk there alot to use the internet, making it slow alot of times. Non campers may also swim for a fee, and that drove a few of us out from their smoking right next to the pool. (This was on a daily basis there). Complaints about smoking and one person there drinking fell on deaf ears as the owner said they had a right to smoke as its outside. I said right next to the pool with kids???????? Friendly
