AIS is now providing it's customers with a Zirconium Filter used in conjunction with the Zirconium Pretreatment System, for powder, liquid, and e-coat operations. The Zirconium filter was designed to assist major pretreatment chemical suppliers. The AIS Zirconium Filter is easy to hook up. It ships skid mounted and can be conveniently installed using your existing maintenance staff in one day!
AIS will design your system for ease of use, energy conservation, and to maximize your floor space. The coating process begins with parts hung on an overhead monorail, power and free or floor-mounted conveyor system. A multi-stage pretreatment washer will clean and treat parts making them suitable for coating and ensuring your salt spray requirements are met.
Electrocoating provides a durable and lasting coating. The versatility of electrocoating is endless because it can be used both as a top coat or primer. Electrocoating is known for its ability to coat assembled products and complex parts using electrical current to deposit paint. American Industrial Sales offers complete refurbished monorail and indexing systems that are ready to install or new systems that are designed especially for your needs.
The pretreatment washer is considered the most important part of the coating process in order to achieve a desirable and long-lasting finish. At AIS, our focus is on building long-lasting, stainless steel washers that will maintain peak performance and will always look good. A poly or steel washer have a limited lifespan and will lose performance and aesthetic appearance over time.
AIS will provide you a convection batch, dry-off, cure or (IR) infrared oven to meet any specifications. A convection oven will provide constant heat at a uniform temperature without concerns of burning your coating or not providing a full cure.
The typical oven (convection) will incorporate tongue and groove insulated (4" - 6", 4 lb density) oven panels, a custom designed heating system, ductwork designed for optimal airflow, air seals / hood, exhaust fan, structure, and controls.IR (infrared) ovens are usually best as booster to increase part temp at a fast rate and when floor space is limited.
