Well I was only calling to see about a consultation to get my hair bleached but the woman I spoke to was very rude. She told me none of the workers were there and she didnt seem willing to work with me on scheduling for the consultation. When I told her I wouldnt be able to come in the one day she suggested she told me okay and hung up immediately. Considering Ive never been to this place, this first experience was terrible and I cant see myself ever going here, instead I called a different salon and got a much nicer and more welcoming response.

I gave this salon three tries and they failed each time, so I’m done. First time was for a cut, and the stylists ended up taking off way more than I asked for. Second time the stylist (a different one) gave me highlights and a cut. Once again, way shorter than I asked for, but the bigger problem was her lack of professionalism and her coloring technique. She just left me in the shampoo chair for long periods of time twice without ever checking on me. When she returned, she smelled like cigarettes. I love how my hair was cut here. Sometimes i have problems with stylists not listening to me about how short I want my hair cut, but my stylist had no issue listening to me! The environment was beautiful too - and they even gave me a drink! I also loved the massage chair when my hair was being washed - absolutely to die for. I almost fell asleep in the chair! One of my favorite places to get my hair cut now.

I never write bad reviews but I think in this case is warranted. My stylist was Kennedy. The one positive I will say is when she shampooed my hair she really took her time, felt amazing. Other than that portion of the experience Im very disappointed. First off she isn't very friendly but I'm not paying for friendly , I just want a great hair cut which I didn't get. I showed her a shoulder length hair style with feathers soft layers , my hair was about 3 inches past my shoulder before the cut with light layers. We went in this morning to try and get my sons hair trimmed. We were a walk in and I understand you don’t always have time for those, but I thought we would give it a shot. The lady behind the counter was so rude, I asked her if they had time to do a trim and with even looking says “no”. So I stood there for a minute thinking she was trying to schedule a time for us to come back, but no... as she’s looking at her computer she’s “yeah we just don’t have a lot of people working today, that’s just how it happened.” Never one time offered to make an appointment or tell me a better

They literally cancelled my appointment on me at the time my appointment was scheduled for. It was scheduled 2-3 weeks in advance and I took the day off of work for this appointment. If there was concern of a possible sick stylist the appointment should have been re-scheduled much further in advance.

Won't go back to Blond on Broad. Sounds like client, Angela M. and Kasey P. below had the same stylist as me. Was there before Christmas holiday and traveling. Worst hair cut I've had in years! Spent 4 hours and $200 at this salon! My stylist was slow, took cigarette breaks in between working on my hair (could smell the smoke), gossiped about another stylist/receptionist during my visit to another employee, and my hair was cut too short with choppy, uneven layers. My husband and family all agreed, too, worst cut I've had in 20+ years.

The cut was not at all what I wanted. I even brought several pictures and discussed what I did and did not want. When the stylist asked, "Were you the one who said you wanted bangs?," I should have run. Silly me. My layers were uneven, one side is longer than the other, and there's no way I can leave the house without styling to hide the botched layers. Going to someone else to have it fixed, which makes me nervous because the BoB stylist already cut it shorter than we discussed. Won't ever go back.

I'm usually not a salon type of person, but these girls were very welcoming and as nice as could be. I went in to have my hair cut for donation, and got an excellent service by Maria. She cut and styled my hair perfectly, even gave advice on where to send my donation. On top of that, a cut, wash, and style was only $26! Couldn't be happier! Thank you Maria!

Based upon the only Yelp review I saw, I scheduled a last minute appointment with Megan and I could not have been more pleased. I came in with a few pictures and she took her time and listened to what my ideas were for my haircut which never happens when I go into most salons. She did exactly what I requested...I could not have been more pleased with my cut. Everyone at Blonde was cordial and happy to help me as soon as I walked into the door. I will definitely be back!!

I hadn't had the chance to get my hair done (highlights and root touch-up) before I left NYC for a wedding in GA. I found Blonde on Broad online and it was close to our hotel. A little nerve-wracking to get your hair done somewhere unfamiliar but Maegan couldn't have been more helpful, friendly and professional.
She listened to what I needed done and the results were fantastic! I got compliments from several friends at the wedding and from coworkers now that I'm back in NY. She definitely knows what she's doing and I'm a little bummed I can't go to her regularly.
