Short term rehab gets patients back home and is designed to help regain independence after hospitalization.

Crouse Community Center, a non-profit organization, opened in 1991 across from the campus of SUNY Morrisville as a 120 skilled nursing facility to serve the long term care needs of Madison County Residents. With a dedicated Board of Directors that are local leaders, Crouse Community is committed to meeting the healthcare needs of the area with innovative services and unmatched quality and commitment from each member of our organization.

Our 7 day a week programs provide stimulating activities to ensure fun, socialization, and recreation. Each month our residents choose what programs interests them and Crouse Community customizes its monthly calendar to ensure those programs are scheduled! Monthly programs include: spiritual choices, social events, recreational fun, mentally stimulating games, one on one, and specialized purposeful options, such as helping to run our gift shop.
Crouse Community Center's intensive, short-term rehabilitation program is designed to help people post hospitalization to regain their independence. The professionally trained and licensed physical therapists promote wellness, maintenance of good health and proper body mechanics in each patient. Our occupational therapists provide skills for individuals to work toward returning to daily tasks with minimum discomfort and maximum productivity.

We offer 7 day a week therapy after surgery to accomplish this goal. Therapy After Hospitalization from Crouse Community Center Includes Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Therapy.
