Services
Miltes began sewing at fifteen years of age, designing and producing clothes for family and friends in Brazil. Later she started a clothing shop serving all of the towns in her area. She has spent years developing her sewing and design skills in both South and North America. Today she feels her embellished clothing will accentuate every clients' feelings about looking good.

Critical: Professionalism, Responsiveness
My wife called this place to alter a bridesmaid dresses and the wedding was in 4 weeks and she left a voicemail. They responded after 1 week and said something along the lines of "Did you wait until 2 weeks left to the wedding". Not a proper response time and a proper response even though it may not be enough time to alter a dress.

I had a last minute request to get my sleeves taken in for my company holiday party and Miltes was more than willing to help out. I brought a bridesmaid dress in to be taken in. She did beautiful work on the dress, it needed to be taken quite a bit, and required moving some straps. Despite having some patterned fabric work on the bodice where the alterations were needed, you could never tell that anything has been done to it, and it fits perfectly. I was thrilled with the work, the speed, and the price.

I needed a winter coat completely relined - sleeves & body. I looked for places near Acton, but wasn't too impressed with the reviews for shops in my area. I went to a few alterations shops near me, but after speaking with the seamstress/tailor, I decided to continue my search. I was NOT looking for a lower price: I was looking for someone I thought would be up to the task of doing an excellent job on this (20-year-old!) coat, which was not inexpensive.

Great tailor and seamstress. My wife and I have used her for alterations and the work is always high quality at a reasonable price. She sewed blackout liners onto the back of a set of curtains for our son's room. We called several tailors in the area and she was the only one that would take this job. They came out great and keep our son's room nice and dark when he is sleeping.

She is phenomenal! I first had her alter a bridesmaid dress for me (hemming and inserting cups for support in the front as it was a low back dress and a bra was not an option), and I was very nervous about the cups as they never look natural in dresses. She worked with me giving me options and the final product exceeded all expectations. They looked natural and left me feeling supported and lifted all night. Also, she checked the hem twice to make sure it was as perfect as possible. She has a great attention to detail and makes sure you leave her place satisfied. Since then I use her for everything

Great location in a cute little house between Natick and Framingham. The price was very reasonable and they were very professional. They accept Credit Cards or Cash. They offered to rush order at no additional price. I am coming from Wellesley, MA but would drive there again for the great work they do.

I was so happy to find Miltes (the seamstress). I'm not very tall and whenever I buy pants, they tend to drag on the ground behind me. Of course I could just roll them up, but that doesn't look very neat.
When I bring my pants to Milrich - I know that they'll be hemmed to the correct height and the price can't be beat.
Miltes was able to make a beautiful daybed cover for me (in photo). It's for a hospital bed that may not be used for quite a while and instead of seeing it everyday and getting depressed, our family decided to make it into a daybed. As you can see from

This lady is talented. I bought some fabric from a nearby supplier and asked them for a recommendation. Went to Milrich and asked her if she would make me a bench cushion and pillows. Apparently she's never done this before and was honest about that but I wasn't deterred. I was confident she would do a great job and she did. Everyone who comes over loves my window seat/bench! I plan on asking her to make some window treatments for me as well. I believe her expertise is making clothing. Nice lady and very reasonable turnaround. Highly recommend.
