We hired Federal Hill Home Theaters to finish installing a surround sound system in our living room. The previous owners of the home had a system installed, so the speakers were already in the wall and there were a mess of wires everywhere. We are not people who know much about sound systems, and Matthew and Rachel did an excellent job walking us through every step of the way! They made sure we understood all our options at varying price points and in no way pressured us to spend more than we needed to... which is nice when you have no idea what you are doing! Had a great experience today visiting the demo room and speaking with Matthew. As a first timer looking for the best option for me I did not feel rushed (I was there for almost 2 hrs) nor pushed to a certain product while I pondered and asked many questions. Something I certainly didnt feel from the "big box" retailers.He gave me what i felt was genuine non sales opinions and answers. First impressions do go a long way and i was certainly impressed with the interaction and experience overall. Seems like i found my home audio installers.

I love the system that Federal Hill Home Theaters installed! They came out several times for consultations to make sure that we were putting in the best system for my needs and were very patient with me. The whole process for me took over a year, completely based on my timeline, so they helped me and taught me a lot. Everything they did came in on time and on budget. Excellent service on installing a large flat screen TV. The staff are friendly and very professional and accommodating - and very knowledgeable about what they do without trying to "up-sell" anything. This was the 2nd install they have done for me and the workmanship and care they take are very good. Highly recommend them for home theater needs.

Matt and Nick were wonderful! They were referred to me by my son and my electrician. They installed an outlet and mounted a tv in a difficult location over my fireplace. They were professional, prompt, and polite. I would definitely recommend them.

Bought a speaker system but the first problem we had two techs show up scratch their head do nothing and charge 120.00 for a "service call." Never really got the system working properly but why waste cash on clueless techs. The speakers themselves are decent but not great with one not even working properly. A friend got things working better and all he was happy with a beer. Also once the sale and installation was made they disappeared without a follow-up.

Wow! I thought I knew enough about home theaters to do everything myself...not! The technology is changing so fast it's almost impossible to keep up with all the new features...and how they all work together.

Do not use this business! I would use another company or google the installation processes yourself. My husband and I hired Federal Hill Home Theaters to do a project at our home and they did not do anything as we discussed. More importantly, once my check was cashed, we could not get anyone to discuss the issues or come out to fix them.

Dishonest and lacking integrity. Profess to be experts which is far from the case; Certainly overpriced. Once they cash your check (which is moments after you sign it) you'll not receive corrective service without a charge. You would be better served using Best Buy's geek squad or installing yourself; that's the extent of their expertise. Zero stars is what they deserve but single star is the lowest possible rating.

The guys from FHHT just wall-mounted a TV above my fireplace today. Can't recommend them highly enough. Extremely prompt in responding to inquiries, professional, knowledgable and courteous. My husband called these guys to do some electrical (and other) complicated work on our wall-mounted wide screen TV. They were fantastic!
