St. Mary's School was opened as a grade school in 1884, adding high school classes at a later date. The first graduates of St. Mary's came in 1889, which became tradition every year thru 1928 when a new building was opened across the street from St. Mary's and changed its name to Trinity in honor of the name of the Catholic Church located near the former St. Mary's.
As a Christ-centered community, rooted in the Catholic faith, we promote lifelong learning through spiritual, personal, and academic excellence in a safe environment while fostering respect, responsibility, and integrity. Be known for comprehensive curriculum options that will appropriately challenge all students.

Once you familiarize yourself with our school and mission and determine that you are interested in a teaching, administrative, substitute (short or long-term), or coaching position at Central Catholic, the first step is to email a cover letter, resume and philosophy of Catholic education (See below).As a Catholic high school, we first and foremost hire for mission.
The Advisory Committee of Central Catholic High School is the governance body for the school. It enables participation by the Catholic community of the Bloomington-Normal Illinois area in collaboration with the Diocese of Peoria and under oversight of the Central Catholic High School Pastors' Board.
8th grade students will spend the morning with Central Catholic ambassadors and participate in the morning class schedule. They will stay for lunch and return to their school at 12:30 p.m. Parents of 7th and 8th grade students and their students are invited to tour the school in a structured classroom setting to get an overview of the curriculum and meet the faculty and staff of Central Catholic.

My daughter goes.to CCHS. Excellent staff and education. She will be ready for the challenges in college for sure. CCHS is a 2017 Blue Ribbon school and we'll deserved. I'm glad I made this choice for my daughters education.
