We had a fantastic experience working with Chris Pete, owner of Craftsman Construction. Our home in the Richmond neighborhood of SE Portland only had one bathroom. Chris Pete has a lot of experience working with older homes in Portland and has a great understanding of what is required in order to get the neccessary permits from the city when remodeling these homes.
We are calling Craftsman Construction for all our future projects! Chris Pete was our general contractor for a very difficult roofing project that other contractors had turned down because of the difficult job. Craftsman Construction tackled the job with professionalism and a can do attitude. The job sight was always left clean and tidy and everything promised was delivered, for a very reasonable price.
Chris Pete of Craftsman Construction built my house nine years ago and we have called on them for several projects since, including rushing over in an emergency when we experienced some water damage. I love working with them because they take the time to listen to our ideas and have always built beyond our expectations.

I am really pleased with the work Chris Pete and his team of experts provided for us when we had an addition built onto our home this past July, 2014. Every step of the process was handled with perfection and with great care to provide the very best craftsmanship. Working with a good builder that keeps you informed of each aspect of the project is really nice. Communication was always good and timely. We just love the addition and the quality is fantastic. I recommend Chris to anyone who wants to remodel or build an addition. Chris truly cares about your desires and projected needs and strives
