Services
The idea for creating a cabin rental vacation getaway in the Allegheny Mountain Range came to life over several meetings at a Bob Evans restaurant in Columbus, Ohio, between co-owners Paul and Christy Liimatta and Joe Boffo. Joe had been accumulating land in the Genoa, West Virginia, area for several years and had dreamed of building cabins, tree houses and uniquely designed vacation rentals on a beautiful area called Hampton Ridge.
This will be Joe Boffo's fourth summer as an owner of Rustic Ravines, a cabin resort in Genoa that tailors to ATV riders. Rustic Ravines and co-owner Joe Boffo were featured in a story on an expanding recreation corridor in Southern West Virginia recently posted on the Huntington Area Development Council website.
Rustic Ravines now offers a conference center/meeting room venue for rent. The 2,000-foot facility comes complete with 60 meg Wi-Fi, tables and chairs, and is located in the back room of our Radnor Hollow Lodge. Local professionals from the Tri-State area have begun utilizing the conference center with great success.
FROM HUNTINGTON, WEST VIRGINIA: Approximately 27 miles, 40 minutes South of Huntington. Take the 5th Street exit (Exit 8) off I-64 West, go South onto St. Rt. 152 South. Drive south thru Lavallette and Wayne, West Virginia, on down to Genoa. Take a right turn just before the Genoa Post Office; it's a brown brick building on your right you may want to GPS the Genoa, West Virginia, Post Office.
The Hampton is a uniquely designed, traditional-style cabin built with 6-, 8- and 12-foot logs by Weaver Barns of Sugar Creek, Ohio. The Genoa Cabin is named after Rustic Ravines' hometown of Genoa, West Virginia, and is a high-tech cabin with the style of a traditional one. A mirror image of Rustic Ravines' Genoa Cabin, it is as fine an example of Amish craftsmanship as any cabin in the country.

Rustic Revenes is an amazing place. The cabins are perfect with air conditioning, clean sheets, clean dishes, free and fast wifi, showers, and more! Everything is decorated super nicely and it’s honestly better than any cabin I’ve ever stayed in at Gatlinburg. Its very quiet and peaceful. The restaurant has amazing food and the convenience store has plently of options for everyone! There is a great flow of positive and relaxing energy throughout the entire land. The zip line is a ton of fun, and the side by side rides are even better. I love it here!

Some friends and I loaded up the side by sides for a guys trip. We arrived on the morning of on our day of check in, our guide Tosha was on time, beyond nice and was ready to go. After riding about a hour, one of our own utvs ( not a rental) had issues with a wheel stud from a improperly seated wheel and tire due to some last minute maintenance before the trip. Our guide helped us limp it to a near by road, called her dad to come get us with a truck and trailer and hauled us back to rustic ravines some 14 miles away. The guide refused to take a tip because we had only been out about a hour despite

Loved every second of our trip here ! Joe was friendly and answered all of our questions. Ricky was very welcoming and gave us a little history on his help with building the place. We also met Phil and junebug who helped as well - all of them are awesome. Blacky the dog visited daily , lounged on our side porch. We enjoyed sitting on the front porch , watching the horse graze freely surrounded by the beautiful mountains and trees. I highly suggest a side by side rental - grinding down the mountain trails and cliffs made for a breath taking view. Muddy puddles , huge rocks and downed trees were

This place is amazing! Joe and his staff are very friendly. Who would believe this hidden gem is nestled in the hills where I grew up as a child. The Amish cabins are spectacular and the upcoming zip line will be stellar! Hot tubs almost everywhere! Outdoor showers (and inside as well) let you experience nature in the "natural" way. You cannot miss this. In the winter, it is so peaceful and to look over the snow capped hills and valleys.... Wonderful!

We loved Rustic Ravines! The cabin we stayed in (The Frontier) was fabulous and very clean. The WiFi worked great, and the hot tub was a great addition! The cabin had everything we needed to cook dinner one of the nights we were there. You can tell that Joe takes great pride in the property because it is very well-cared for. He is extremely friendly and helpful when we asked for advice on places to hike with our dogs. We would definitely come back here for vacation!
