North Cascade Home Inspection is a licensed and insured home inspection company in Lake Stevens, Washington. We perform home inspections in Snohomish, Skagit, Whatcom, King, and Island counties. Scott is a wonderful business owner and home inspector. He was flexible and transparent in our scheduling phone call and was early to our appointment. He has decades' worth of knowledge in the construction industry and simplified information for us to fully understand what his role was and what he was testing in our new home. Scott was thorough, efficient and so helpful during our home inspection. He spent time in every nook and cranny of the house as well as opening up the breaker panel and furnace to help us understand their make and life expectancy. He was so informative and communicative throughout his time with us, answering all of our questions and explaining each thing he found. His report is thorough and detailed so we know how to improve each detail he noted. I couldn’t be happier with how Scott handled my home inspection. He was very thorough and extremely knowledgeable. I learned so much about my house before my purchase. First time home buyer here - Scott was a lifesaver for me, not only because of my own time constraints but he walked me through my new home and explained in detail to me what things meant, and was happy to teach me as he went along. He was fast and responsive and even showed me some fixes that I’m not asking the seller to do so that I feel confident to do some DIY projects myself. Scott was fantastic, I needed a 1 year warranty home inspection that I put off until the last minute and he was able to get me in within the week. He showed up on time and talked with me about my concerns on the house. He was respectful and explained things to me when I had questions. He emailed me my report in under 24 hours. I highly recommend North Cascade Home Inspection. I needed a warranty inspection done on my house and was on a tight timeline. Scott was able to fit me in right away. He arrived on time and did a very thorough inspection, explaining things to us as he went, and we received the inspection report first thing the following morning. I’ll be calling them again next time I need a home inspection!

We had Scott from North Cascade Home Inspection come out for our 11 month inspection on a new construction home. He found multiple things that our initial inspector did not catch, one of them being a very big issue. He was a pleasure to work with, very knowledgeable and professional. Scott was incredibly responsive, helpful and thorough throughout two separate home inspections we hired him for during our home buying search process.
