With dye sublimation, the design transfers right into the coating, or the part itself. You can even sublimate directly into some plastics! There are many nuances to the process of dye sublimation, so it's important to partner with a company that is experienced with the process.
Laser cutting, typically used as a CNC type machine for cutting metals such as industrial steel, stainless steel, aluminum, copper, etc., can be used on many other materials. The process uses a fiber laser, focusing optics to cut with a high-density light beam.

PoDCo began as a finishing company, delivering the highest quality finishes at the lowest cost. We started by becoming the first North American licensee of the Decoral process. Staying on top of the latest advancements in powder coating and dye sublimation technology, we can meet all of your finishing requirements!
Powder coating is a "green" friendly painting process introduced in the late 1940's where the paint is actually a dry powdery material. The powder is sprayed at and clings to the part, then goes into an oven, where it is cured. During the curing process, the powder turns into a liquid and flows for a uniform coating.
Dye sublimation is the transition of a substance (dye) from the solid phase directly to the vapor phase. During the dye sublimation process an image is "tattooed" into the powder coat base. This compares to other processes which decorate only the surface of the base material. As a result, dye sublimation is a more durable process than other finishes.
