ProCare Services started in 1983 and then in 1998 Dean Mahlstedt purchased the business as a Cleaning & Restoration Company. Water-Fire-Storm-Mold has been the basis of the business. Then after his own family went through Lyme disease and Mold toxicity in 2012, the passion at ProCare narrowed down it's focus.

After Dean learned how to implement and help his own family along with many others, his passion is to have this company make difference in peoples' lives by providing services for mold investigations & consulting. Giving informative and valuable data to building owners & homeowners, therefore guiding decisions towards achieving a healthy building.

He gave me the results in a verbal “wrap up” meeting, but did not show me up close any details. I could see red, yellow and green boxes, but that was it. Didn’t send report despite numerous attempts.
Shortly after posting review he did get back to me with the report and explained that he had technical difficulties obtaining the report. He was very apologetic. I’m grateful for the receipt of the report and the information resulting from it.

On July 24th, 2018 I had a mold test conducted on two units of a duplex that I had just recently purchased; Dean, the owner and CEO of ProCare, was the employee who conducted these tests.
