At Benefit Acupuncture, each patient is given a personalized treatment plan to address the root of the problem based on diet, emotions and daily lifestyle. After suffering from bursitis in my shoulder for several months, without three different physicians being able to find a solution, I found Benefit Acupuncture and Dr. Lai.
I am now entering my 3rd month of treatment by Dr. Lai and I have experienced very significant improvement in the movement of my shoulder and the reduction of pain. Also my dependence on pain medicine has ceased.

I was in a car wreck ten years ago, and had been in pain every day until I went to Benefit Acupuncture. After the first treatment the pain in my lower back was gone. The acupuncture treatments have also lowered my high blood pressure, relieved my stress, and they're healing my stomach ulcer.

Hilary Lai, is by far the best acupuncturist I have ever encountered, she helped me during a very dark time and brought my health and healing back into my life! I have had TMJ for the last five years. My doctor initially put me on two different muscle relaxers which didn’t help whatsoever and drugged me out. I quit those but never found another treatment. A lot of people told me that jaw surgery was the most popular option but I hated that option!!! I posted on Facebook about my condition and asked for recommendations and someone said Acupuncture. Hilary is so amazing. She has been my first experience with acupuncture and cupping and I absolutely love it. I came for balancing my mood and energy and also sever insomnia and I slept better immediately. Wow, Dr. Lai has changed my life, I had sciatic nerve damage for over a year and was doing physical therapy, but it was no help. My knee and hips began to make walking difficult, so I went to Dr. Lai to seek help after the first consultation, we made a treatment plan. After each acupuncture session, I started feeling more sensation and strength in my whole leg. I am truly thankful I found Dr. Lai.

I love the place! I've visited Dr. Lai to treat my neck pain due to work related. My family physician scheduled me for MRI and wanted to send me to specialist and possible surgery! I was terrified till I was referred by a friend to Benefit Acupuncture and I've fell in love with the place. I would go every other day, and after 4-5 visits, my neck pain has diminishing over 90%. I had doubt on acupuncture before and always wonder if it really works, now proves it! It really works! The place is so peaceful, clean, and has the soft music which makes you relax.

Dr. Lai has been very helpful in my recent quest relieve my asthma symptoms. I recently moved to Texas and have been struggling with allergy and asthma attacks. It has never been this bad. I also suffer from migraines.
After my first session, I immediately felt better. I reduced the use of my rescue inhaler by 50%. I know only use my preventative inhaler a few times a week.
She has also been helping with my sciatica. I was in constant pain and forgot how it feels to wake up without it. This has been the best my lower back has felt in a really long time.

Chronic lower back pain from a car accident long ago combined with workouts that occasionally throws my back out compounded by daily commute in a car to Dallas are key culprits of my nagging back pain. Then I started seeing Dr Lai and she introduced me to NAET. It is not directly for infertility but it helped my body overall. At the same time, Dr Lai started the acupuncture treatment for me. I just had my first consultation and treatment here I must say I am just thrilled. Dr. Lai is incredibly kind and took the time to explain everything to me so that I understood not only the treatment but why they were being done. I am already scheduled to go back for another relaxing and revitalizing session. The office is clean and I was seen right away. I sought out acupuncture because I am struggling with infertility but I am happy to learn that she can treat many other symptoms. I look forward to a balanced and fertile future.

Dr. Lai is very thorough and concerned for the health, well-being and your improvement throughout the treatment process. I injured my shoulder 3 weeks ago and was in constant pain and discomfort. Two days post injury, I went in for my first appointment of three total to date. After the first treatment my pain was reduced on a scale of 1-10 from a 7 to a 2 or 3 most days and continued improving daily. Being on the road and having irregular sleeping and eating patterns. I have bad sleep apnea. I can hardly fall asleep and when I do get to sleep I can't stay asleep especially in the spring time! Allergy is killing. Dr Lai has helped me with the ear technical ( I am not a doctor so don't know the official name) . It helped me relax and stay in deeper state of sleep longer. I'm a newbie to acupuncture. Dr. Lai was patient and answered all my questions. She told me what she'll be doing at my first appointment and was filled with knowledge. I felt comfortable at my first appointment. Who likes needles??? The acupuncture was painless and I felt relaxed. This office is quiet. Dr. Lai knew what she was doing. I will be returning to see what all acupuncture has to offer and its benefits.
