Opened a small flooring and furniture store in Geneva, NY. His store began to grow successfully and as a result of his success, John Church Sr. opened a store in Penn Yan in the early 1990's. His grandson, Michael Westfall, then became Manager, as he had been working in the family business since he was a child.

Before Thanksgiving I attempted to have a faulty tiled shower floor replaced. It had been installed by Church 6 years earlier. I should have known better then when the installer was looking at YouTube to see how to do it. But all was forgiven, let's try to get this installation done right this time. I got an appointment for the installation in early December for the end of January! Ok, ok, I'll wait until then. Now the installer wants to only work on the weekend, not the date promised. Enough is enough. Bottom line - beware working with Church!! They can't keep promises. Anyway, after this was
