Founder Wayne Gomer became interested in the ocean at a very early age and started his diving career in the 1960s when he made his first scuba dive off the Island of Bermuda. That experienced sparked a 40+ year career that includes becoming a NAUI instructor in 1976 and a PADI instructor in 1978. As an instructor, Wayne is proud to have introduced thousands of new divers to the sport.
PADI eLearning is internet based course work that you can access from anywhere via the world wide web. With PADI eLearning, you can sign-up and complete the knowledge-based dive training from the convenience of your home, office or on the road, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. PADI's eLearning system gives you the flexibility to study course material at your own pace.

Don't have the equipment for diving? Rent from Divers Market! Our rental gear allows you to get the full diving experience even if you only go a few times a year. For your convenience, contact us to reserve your equipment ahead of time. Equipment rentals are based on a 24-hour period. After 24 hours there is a late fee of $20.00.

Conveniently located in Plymouth for South Shore scuba divers, Wayne's "Diver's Market" is a friendly, professional, well organized shop.
Their selection of product is extensive, their costs are competitive, and they service most major brands of scuba equipment.
As a certified Instructor, who doesn't even work for them, I would highly recommend them.

Wayne, Paul, and Bob were amazing! Stopped in to buy some gear and they gave us really great deals. They also took the time to explain where the best dive sites in the area were and what to look for. Great recommendations for equipment, diving, as well as restaurants in the area. A very welcoming environment and amazing members of the local diving community.

Divers Market not only has very fair prices and a good selection of dive gear, the open water dive course is fantastic! The owner Wayne is super responsive, a wealth of knowledge, and makes you feel comfortable when you enter his dive shop and when you get started in a course. Then there is the fantastic staff! Stopped in to this place a few weeks ago and had a great experience. The owner, Wayne, was there and was so helpful with all my questions. I'm looking for a wetsuit so I can paddle board year round. I ended up getting gloves and shoes that I love. Lots of Henderson wet suits here, dry suits and lots of diving gear.

Even though I arrived pretty close to closing time, Brian did not rush me out. He listened carefully to the description of what I was looking for, let me try on a number of different suits, and helped me find what I needed. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed. The staff seem very knowledgeable. And I love my new wetsuit!! So excited!

I truly believe after dealing with Wayne for the last 25 years he is an expert. I trust his recommendations, and his expertise. His pricing is very fair and reasonable. Diving is a wonderful experience but you need someone to guide you through the impeccable reliability of your equipment. These guys got it right.

Would you drive 74 miles, 1 h 30 min, to Plymouth MA, in light traffic, to do business with a dive shop? You bet! Yes, if it is to visit Diver's Market! It will be worthwhile.
Now I can tell you the rest of the story! I recently returned to diving after a long break. I own Poseidon regulators and wanted to get them serviced. After numerous phone calls and s lot of, "we don't service those", I was eventually referred to Diver's Market in Plymouth, Mass. I made a call to the dive shop and spoke with Wayne Gomer. After a short conversation and in the interest of saving travel

I've been a customer of Wayne and the crew of this dive shop for over 30 years. I have always been treated with respect and fairness. I went there to fill a tank to use for air soft guns. I liked the music very 70's fun jimmy buffet ish. The decor was very happy sponge paint walls with lots of cute fish. It was a very fun place. I don't scuba dive but it seemed to have a decent amount of items for sale. It perked my interest to possibly try scuba diving. Very friendly staff.
