As a very young man of 11 years old, Al Verschave, founder of AVS Fabrication, was introduced to the world of automotive customizing. He learned from his father, a midwestern Hot Rod painter who, to his credit, was a HOTROD Magazine Top Ten award winner. When Al worked with his father, he learned how to do the very best he could on every task he took on.
Over the years it became evident that his love for fabrication took over the paint and body intuition he had mastered. His passion for building high quality race cars led to numerous awards. His awards include the renowned Detroit Autorama and the prestigious Master Builder Award at the Chicago World of Wheels.

I received excellent service from AVS. I have an older truck that had Surf Racks welded - not bolted but welded - to the back by the previous owner. Allen did an excellent job removing them, it looks perfect like they were never there! Easy to talk to fast service and reasonable price, and more than that I trust these guys with my vehicle!

Went here 2 years to have custom mufflers installed on my 335I, and it was a great experience. The muffler kit was anything but a direct fit, but Al, made bends to piping and fit it perfectly. Just went back and got test pipes installed on my E92 M3, and again AL, and the guys did a great job!! I highly recommend them.
