Ankle pain may occur due to a number of different reasons, including obesity. Patients who are obese may experience ankle pain more commonly than others because of the additional weight being carried by their feet. Athletes are also common patients who will likely experience some form of ankle pain.
Arthritis develops when one or more joints become inflamed. When this occurs, it's very likely for you to develop pain and stiffness in the affected area. Arthritis is typically common in the small joints of the foot as well as the ankle. It's very possible that arthritis can develop due to previous injuries or traumas from the past.

Dr. Favazzo and his staff is very professional and he very well known in about taking care of your feet.
Dr Favazzo and his staff are very knowledgeable, caring, and always make sure you are comfortable and at peace. Because of him and his staff my feet are Healed!!

I've been coming to the Mentor location for over a year for senior nail care and I have found Dr. Joseph Favazzo and the staff very accomodating. When I first started there, I had an issue with walking, so everyone was very helpful in getting me into a position where the doctor could work on my feet. In contrast to other places I have gone, the doctor did a nice job in not only working on my nails but smoothing them out after he cut them. I'm so glad I found Podiatry, Inc.and would recommend them to anyone seeking a friendly, competent practice.

This is being written by Roy's wife Susan. Sadly, Roy passed away in January 2020 from cancer. For several years the wonderful doctors and staff at Podiatry Inc. handled Roy's serious podiatry needs. Through many, many problems with peripheral artery disease, major infections of the feet, and diabetic issues, the doctors were there. Leg amputation was prescribed by a vascular surgeon. A podiatrist in this office personally connected us with another surgeon who saved Roy's leg. These podiatrists kept a watchful eye on my husband's medical conditions.
