Elli Pittas is the President and CEO of Women's HealthCare Imaging Center. Elli has close to thirty years of experience in the development and management of high technology diagnostic imaging facilities. Over the course of her career she has served in both executive management and board positions of publicly traded imaging centers, and run a successful medical billing company.
We offer Digital Mammography with CAD, it's the latest technology in breast imaging. It has high-speed digital imaging with a zoom lens to produce images of the breast with greater accuracy and clarity than older digital or film mammography. The system also uses the lowest possible dose of radiation and has compression paddles that adapt to each patient's unique breast size and density to provide the utmost comfort during the screening.
Bring the prescription from your physician and any insurance information including your referral or pre-certification on the day of your appointment. If you do not bring this information, we will have to reschedule your appointment. When you walk through our doors, you'll feel the difference. From the waterfall in the waiting room to your exam room, you will feel a calming effect that is not present at other multi-modality centers.
When there is more breast tissue the breast is considered dense. On a mammogram dense tissue looks white. Since masses or lumps also appear white on a mammogram, a suspicious lump may be masked by the dense breast tissue. Women with extremely dense breast tissue have a 4 to 6 times greater risk of developing breast cancer than women who do not have dense breast tissue.
This non-invasive test is performed using advanced DEXA equipment to identify potential bone mineral loss or osteoporosis. Our Hologic Digital Bone Scanner uses a unique pencil beam targeted X-ray, which means our patients are only exposed to the minimum amount of radiation necessary to perform this screening.

This is be far the best imaging place around. I've been coming hear for years and I cant explain how polite, helpful and genuinely nice the entire staff is. The girls are amazing especially Alex. She was so kind and answered all my questions. She was very gentle too, which after the mammogram is always a great thing! I love that I get my results the same day and I don't have to come back because the doctor needs additional images. While I wait in the back waiting area, the doctor reviews my mammo and I usually need a sonogram as well. Yes, the wait is long at times but that's because they are thorough

I've been coming here for years and its always a great experience. Everyone is so friendly and always willing to help when I have questions. I live closer to different imaging centers but go out of my way to come here to get my testing done. I ended up having a mammogram and an ultrasound and Alex was so patient with me and kept me at ease. I highly recommend this place.

The best way to describe the Women's Healthcare Imaging is that you get what you and your insurance pay for. If you have your mammogram 100% covered, they will make sure they add on many additional charges so that you can pay above and beyond what should be covered for you out of your pocket. And if you are a cash patient, you should definitely look else where. They abuse the system terribly and for that, they will no longer have my business. It's a surprise that still can get away with their billing structure! Buyer beware!

I was referred by a coworker. I guess everyone has different experience. Well my appointment was 5pm. I got there 4:45 pm. They said it was too early. They called me to come in, it was 5:05pm. I was asked to Santatize my hands before giving her (receptionist) my ID and insurance card. That was fine by me. What trigger me was. I was told not to drink my water in the waiting area becuz I would have to take off my mask. I recently visited Women’s healthcare imaging for my mammogram. I was impressed how clean and neat everything was despite Covid restrictions. I had my mammograms before elsewhere, but I have never gotten same day results in any other facility. It felt great to walk out knowing I was ok and didn’t have to wait 5-10 days for my doctors office to contact me. Prior to my personal experience I also had my mother at this facility for urgent case. I’ve been coming to have my mammograms at Women’s Health for few years. I take a drive even tho I have an imaging facility down the street. Very friendly, caring environment. You get you results the same day which is absolutely amazing. Place is very neat and spa like decor creates a great environment for a very difficult exam in any woman’s life. Recently had my other family members for different exams. Ultrasound tech Nino was absolutely amazing with my underage daughter. Mammo tech Marie and second ultrasound tech Genesis did a great job with my mother! I would definitely recommend this

Great service, never had problem scheduling appointments, they always try and accommodate you. I have never had a mammogram here but ultrasound techs are all great, attentive and caring. Went here last week I was escorted to the second floor which was extra care from what I understood due to covid to separate patients. Tech was very welcoming and knowledgeable, shared personal experiences and made me feel it was meant for me to meet her.
