In a continuing effort of providing excellent client service, our office has recently implemented a paperless agency management computer system. This system enables our staff to answer customer questions quickly and efficiently. This system also allows our office to make changes, review or add additional information to policies as needed.
Art started his insurance career 1981. He was inspired to become an insurance agent because of his desire to help others. Art moved to Bozeman, Montana in 1989 and began working with the Bissell Insurance Agency in 1993. Since assuming control of the Bissell Agency in 1997, Art has received top awards on an annual basis from both the state and national insurance carriers based on customer service and sales.
Fishing Outfitters Association of Montana (FOAM) Insurance Program: We offer all lines of insurance for FOAM members including liability and property insurance. This includes coverage for fly shops, lodges, and motels; commercial auto insurance; and insurance on boats and equipment.
American Fly Fishing Trade Association (AFFTA) Insurance Program: We currently offer General Liability coverage for fly fishing outfitters and guides who are current members and in good standing with the American Fly Fishing Trade Association ( AFFTA).Personal & Commercial Umbrella policies are available to offer coverage in addition to the primary insurance one may already have.

1 star each for past positive experiences with Aurelia and Alex. Karen and Amanda were so awful to work with (refusing to answer basic questions regarding my policy, and being extremely rude all the while) that I canceled all my policies w Bissell- based solely on these interactions. I was with Bissell for several years, zero claims or losses.

Owner threatened to have my car towed from the shared public parking lot in front of the building he leases from. He doesn't have legal right to do this, but towing companies don't verify, so it's an actionable threat. This is reprehensible behavior, and I feel potential customers should be aware of it.
