Council members collaboratively provide leadership, direction, and support to the school community in its quest to deliver a quality education to all students. The council makes decisions in the best interests of our ever-evolving educational community. We carefully evaluate every choice we make with respect to and in support of the school principal, staff, and parents.
We are accountable to you. As a district, we are fiscally responsible for overseeing consistent procedures to accurately account for and reconcile all district funds. Employee benefits represent a great part of your total compensation. Mingus Union High School offers a benefit package that provides our employees the benefits as outlined below. Health, dental, vision, life, and short-term disability insurance are only available to eligible employees. To be eligible for full benefits, an employee must work 30 hours or more per week; for partial benefits, an employee must work 20 to 30 hours per week.
