His first job out of high school was working in construction building homes from the foundation up.
He later went to Virginia, as he had family there. He decided to stay in the construction field as he was very good at it and liked to build and create with his hands. In Virginia, he did a number of different things such as ceramics, floors, painting, drywall, and of course roofing. In addition to building and creating with his hands Marlon has always loved to travel.

After a storm, I had some water leaking into my house. Another roofing outfit came and spent an hour examining the area inside and out and suggested another type of service provider. They couldn't find the source of the leak. I called MCS and Marlon came out, immediately found where the flashing had come away from the faux chimney where the furnace exhaust is and fixed it in an hour.

First let me say that Marlon is the best! He has always responded to my questions and requests; even after the job was done.
MCS did a great job replacing the roof to my home.

A major rain and wind storm resulted in my aging relative’s roof needing urgent replacement. My husband has worked with MCS in the past so reached out to them and received a bid with 24 hours and a crew ripping off the roof within the week. The job was well done, the crew was hard working, on time and did an excellent job of cleaning out the gutters and ground of any debris. The peace of mind was priceless! Thank you

I had a branch hit my roof which caused a small leak. Luckily we noticed it before winter. In this area it's next to impossible to get a reliable contractor in a reasonable time. I called MCS at 830 am and explained my situation, he was out at my house before noon. He went up, cleaned my roof of branches, found the hole, and then gave me a fair quote to patch it. He did the work and now the leak is gone. He was very transparent about his work, and sent pictures throughout the process. On top of that, he cleaned the area of all work debris when he was done. I'd highly recommend MCS, and would use

After calling several roofers and having them provide me quotes, Marlin with MCS Roofing and Construction hands down provided the best value. He and his crew did a fantastic job and kept me informed on progress through the whole process. MCS replaced the entire box gutter system, replaced my rotted out facia boards. I would highly recommend Marlin and MCS Roofing and Construction. Glad there are still some honest people out there! Two photos of before and after.
