As a frequent needle-crafter/fabric recycler and doll-maker - I was lucky that I thought to ask the manager over at JOANN's in Gretna, if they knew of a place where I might get my sewing machine serviced. She was quick to recommend ALL ABOUT SEWING. Things were just coming back after the months of COVID shutdowns, so I brought my beloved Singer Featherweight 221 (a legacy from dear departed mom, given to HER - as a wedding gift in 1946 (!) They said I'd have to wait a bit. It took awhile, but I must say the friendly service, the way I was kept informed of progress, and told what was needed

I have bought several different sewing machines from them. They have very good prices and great technical support. They always offered as many classes as needed to feel comfortable with my new piece of equipment. When I need basic cleaning or repairs I always am satisfied with the work they do. They are very knowledgeable about the item they have and what option will and will not be useful.

Signed up to take a basic sewing class. The staff was extremely helpful and very knowledgeable on all things sewing. Can't wait to sign up for future classes. As for alterations, I had previously been there to have something altered and they were extremely busy so instead of taking the item and possible having me wait a while for its return they told me of another place that could help. Great place! Also for all those avid sewers, this is the place to get all your sewing supplies...tons of items in all price ranges.
