I don't think I've ever inhaled a sandwich as fast as I did this one, didn't even get a chance to snap a photo because I was elbow deep in sauce.

I got a roast beef melt with provolone, add italian dressing (in combination with mayo, please do it you will thank me) and WOOOOWWWW so much roast beef, so much flavor. The garlic bread they have it on is HEAVENLY. But can we also talk about THEIR PICKLES?!!

I love pickles, these are GREAT PICKLES - you will want to add several more to your order. This is a MUST STOP the next time we are out here, so good!

I have been going to calabash deli for the last 14 years, and today I decided to visit with my partner because I was so excited to introduce him to the food that I used to love and the hospitality! What happened to that today? We were met by a very rude and somewhat arrogant owner when asked what I wanted, I told her I would like to have one of her delicious lobster rolls? In which she answered in a very rude manner, I owned this place for 24 years and I have never had lobster rolls, maybe you were in a different place? We had the Thanksgiving meal prepared by the deli. All we had to do was pick it up and warm it up. The turkey was perfectly prepared and delicious. The sides, gravy, bread, everything was delicious. Calabash deli you are now a tradition in our house on Thanksgiving.

Melinda has lessened her standard...used to be awesome place, with great food, but still not seating inside, even though all other restaurants in Calabash have done so...only option is to eat out where the flies are so nasty and in droves you can't enjoy what is now " average" food. Disappointed...and the new staff that is working looks like she found them from recently released prisoners. Sorry Melinda, maybe take some time off. Regroup and come back and serve the food you are known for.

My crews been going here for years and the foods always great. The service is top notch and the place is always super clean. With this pandemic and government assistance, I’m surprised at how many respectful employees they have that are actually willing to work. Great job Calabash Deli and crew.

When we visit Sunset Beach or Myrtle Beach, this is definitely on our itinerary! We always look forward to Calabash Deli’s Reuben sandwiches - the standard by which we judge all Reubens. Both the corned beef & pastrami options are delicious. The service is outstanding & employees are respectful, friendly & expedient in their service. We like the outdoor dining venue. Melinda is so welcoming each time we visit & offers great suggestions to round out our menu selections. Btw: the pumpkin bread is outstanding - We highly recommend it! Calabash deli remind s me of a traditional New York deli. today we picked up a roast beef sandwich with provolone on an Italian roll and a Philly cheese steak, those were delicious. They have a variety of… salads, breakfast specials, cookies, cheesecakes and other goodies. You can even call your order in ahead. outdoor seating is also available if you do not want to take your sandwich to go.

They always have great sandwiches. Sometimes best to call ahead and pick up, as it can get quite busy. Can be seem pricey but worth it..

Awesome!!! They have a wonderful gluten free seeded roll. The guy at the register is great. He is polite, helpful and doesn't miss a beat. They prepare my gluten free meals with caution not to contaminate. The godfather sandwich is very tasty.

Delicious sandwiches and extremely generous portions. Enough to eat in 2 settings. Always one of our stops at the beach!

Usually does not disappoint! Ordered some gyros to go and they were fresh and tasty. French fries were wrapped in paper vs. in folk as many places do. This way the fries were not soggy at all! Good food -- especially deli sandwiches and salads. Highly recommend for locals and tourists alike!

Don't even know where to start. I called in to order a sandwich and when I came to pick it up 20 minutes later they made me wait 10 minutes because the register person was talking to a customer ahead of me. When I prompted the owner to expedite the process she got really defensive and started calling me rude. I took this in stride and left with my sandwich. When I got home, the sandwich had unripe and/or the white part at the top of the tomatoe (please see picture below). When I called them back, the person profusely refused to apologize and hung up on me. I've supported this business

This place is wonderful. We picked up two Reubens today and they were fantastic. The sauce was wonderful! We also had two muffins, berry! Yum!!

One of my favorite places to eat when I'm in the area, as it is so nostalgic to me. I've been visiting the area as a tourist for the past 20+ years and my parents recently retired here. I always made it a point to get a sandwich (or breakfast) here during every trip and every time I step in, it's like nothing has changes. Their quality, consistency and great Southern Hospitality are what make this place a true gem.
Plenty of space inside or outside if you are planning on staying, or they wrap it up really nice for you to take on the road or to the beach!

This. Deli has friendly service. Good coffee. They have good prices on their specials for breakfast and lunch.
I've had chicken salad sandwiches from here that were delicious when the girls were very fresh. However if you hit it when the rolls are not fresh it's not as good of course. I think that when they're going to make a sandwich and they feel that the role isn't very fresh they should not use it.

After driving past Calabash Deli for 4 years, I finally stopped in for lunch. Due to their antiquated website and somewhat cluttered-looking front entrance, I wasn't sure what to expect. I was very pleasantly surprised at how bright and clean it was inside. There were MANY freshly baked (in house) sweets and treats were in a dedicated display cooler. They also had a generous selection of side salads which can be ordered by the pound in a separate display cooler.

Their outside seating offers both sun and shade options, and of course they have seating inside, too. The staff was very friendly

I can never say enough good things about The Calabash Deli. I always order the Antipasto Salad because it’s the best I’ve ever had. The staff is amazing and always so helpful. This trip I also added on the New England Clam Chowder and it was amazing. My husband ordered the Bratwurst Sandwich and you can tell from the photos that his sandwich was the best he’s ever eaten. When I phoned our order in I spoke to Jennifer and she’s so precious!! I love all of the staff here and can’t thank them enough. I always make it a point to let them all know how much I appreciate them. I’d recommend
