The hatchet throwing phenomenon is taking off across the country. One of the oldest sports in history, in 2010 it was brought to urban areas of Canada, and the world realized it wasn't just for lumberjacks anymore! Almost anyone can throw a hatchet. It is all about the technique and rotation of the blade.

Don't worry - we'll give instruction and allow practice before your session. Offering more than hatchets and escape rooms, we provide a full experience. Our goal is to be your home away from home. A cozy lodge for our community to come together - put away the distractions and come play a game of cards or chess by our massive stone fireplace, enjoy good food and cold beer, and throw some hatchets with family and friends.

Grizzly Leagues Report

Grizzly's is excited to announce that starting this fall, we will be offering a league night! 8-week league sessions are $125 per person and will be held on Thursday evenings from 7pm-9pm, with makeup nights on Wednesdays. Sign up early, as we only have limited registration in our inaugural league season!

Faq Report

You must be at least 10 years of age to enter the building and need to be accompanied by a parent. Ages 12-15 you must have a parent present at all times. 16-17 an adult must sign your waiver and must be present. You should wear loose fitting clothing to be able to get the full range of motion needed to throw.

Of course axe throwing be a lot of fun, the brews were cold, but the grub was found wanting. Eat before ya show yerselves here but leave room in yer gut for some suds!

1st visit was awesome staff was fun and enjoyable. This 2nd visit was enough for me to never go back. Staff was mediocre at best and lane coach had the attitude of a sock. Not worth $20 per person to do this again. I'd rather watch grass grow!

Was my 1st time here. My friend took me. The Heartburners band was playing. Great music. Axe throwing was a blast. Great place to go to. Loved it♥️

As a non local I won't recommend. I was outcast, avoided, and treated as a leper. Sure it's a local spot, but locals don't seem friendly to new people here. Best bet is to just go somewhere else if you're looking to find a cool place with a good beer variety and chill people.

Awesome experience! Had a great time catching up with coworkers. The food was great (the Buffalo chicken bacon flatbread was amazing!) Amber was a great help at giving us hatchet throwing tips. Also enjoyed the live band. Hope this continues to succeed in Danville!

Went here with my father in law yesterday and had a really good time. The beer is fairly priced ($10 for two beers), the place is set up really well, and our instructor was great.

I've only been to three axe throwing places and this one may very well be the best. I hope they do well, so we can come again on our next visit to Danville.

This is AMAZING!! Axe throwing aside, the food choices are simple and packed with flavor and made with love! We had the chili with cornbread with a side of cayenne infused butter, spot on flavor! The cost was a great price point to boot.

Such an awesome place! I went here with some friends last week and we had a blast. Danville was definitely in need of a place like this. Our throwing instructor was super nice and helpful. The food is also amazing! I recommend the cornbread muffins and the flatbread pizza! I had on open toe shoes (which isn't allowed) but they provided me with a free pair of shoes to wear! No complaints here. Everyone should check out Grizzly's!
