My Doctor ordered a Gel Mattress Overlay at the end of last week. It was approved by my insurance and it was delivered today. Less than a week from start to finish. Great people to do business with. Rented a transport chair for my elderly mother's visit to assist in getting around while sightseeing. Independence had better monthly rental pricing and customer service than other mobility medical supply centers in the area. Jim was helpful and informative over the phone and in person (provided a brief and simple demonstration of how to operate the chair), and the equipment return process with Richard was quick, efficient and friendly. I would definitely engage this company's services again in the future.

I went to this company because at the time, no other business had any knee scooters in stock for my sprained ankle. I thought I was responsible to submit a claim for reimbursement which was allowed under my BC/BC
plan. Even though this company is a provider with BC/BS they did not submit a claim for me because I paid for the scooter first. Yes, I was ignorant of how the system worked having never had to rent any medical equipment, however, shame on Independence HealthWares for not going ahead, reimbursing me the $75.00 and then submitting a claim for me.

Great service and products with free delivery. I have got a hospital bed and a rollator walker delivered to me in West Warwick R I and the gentleman who delivered it.
